After attending the funeral of a friend's mother who had lived a beautiful 102 years of age, we were offered a rose. After the rose no longer held its own in water, I was able to enjoy the petals as they began to wilt. The lines of this rose were quite striking. What a wonderful memory in honor of my good neighbors.
