Hi! Happy Easter to All!

Thursday, April 24, 2014

I had my surgery last Fri. They were great with me. Anesthetics make me sick, but they worked it out. I has the bursa in my hip cleaned out and the band released. Walking with a walker is a work-out. I can weight bear now. My whole thigh is bruised.
Are any of you having problems eating clean and organically? I can,t afford it. Were buying the best we can, no junk food, but have to do the best I can.
I,m using my imagination at cooking. How are you all doing?

    Glad your surgery went well.

I also do a lot of my shopping at Trader Joe's or Farmer's Markets in our area. I don't necessarily buy organic, but try to stay away from processed foods. Groceries have definitely gone up in our area.

It seems to me as though some stores charge such a premium for organic. (QFC, I'm looking at you!) We're lucky enough to have a Trader Joe's in our neighborhood, and though they don't always have everything, what they do have (organic) is usually at least a dollar or two less than any other store around here. It really adds up. I wish everyone had TJs. I don't know if they're all the same?

Miss you all! last year I had bursitis, now its my shoulder, Did have my ear flattened to hold my cochlear appliance in place.
Not complaining, life gets in the way. Working legs and glutes for now. and dancing around the house. I'd like to hear from everyone. I have my FB page which is a lot of healthy stuff and all about my cochlear implant.
My attitude is good. Cherie

Hi, Cherie! Sounds like you've got a wonderful, upbeat attitude despite having to cope with both that miserable bursitis emoticon and adjusting to the new cochlear implant. I imagine that could be quite a change to get used to. We had an accountant who'd gotten one, and it was remarkable how well and seemingly easily she was able to talk with us. I was sorry she retired; she was such a warm, sweet lady! Let me take this opportunity to wish you a (very!) belated New Year, and to wish you a happy, successful coming year! Thanks for friending me, too. emoticon Susan
