Have been eating comfort foods. ?? still weight the same, but muscle shrunk. Had bursitis, still do, was going to PT 3 times a week for 2 hrs, stopped that now, getting steroid shots. This is taking forever.
I also belong to the Cochlear Corp group. In Jan, I will be getting my ear pinned back to hold appliance back.
I,ve had so many obstacles this year, but I always am aware of the other sparkers and what we stand for. Working out as much as much as I can. Have looked for healthier versions of what I,m eating.

Been so busy with appts every day. But I will always remember the SPARK which got me started with my weight loss.. Its been tough on me this year. I have not been able to work-out in my routine or eat too well. The PT was 3times a wk, for 2 hrs. The other days, doc appt. I,m supposed to get my ear pinned back this wed. tomorrow another shot for my Bursitis.
But I have not forgotten my spark friends! Take care!
Went to CA, so see my granddaughter, so sweet, and nice to see my daughter too. I lost 3 ibs there, They are very healthy eaters, and work-out daily!

For some odd reason I,ve bee craving salty stuff. Mac and cheese ete.
Still in Pt, now I have to have a semi, cancer on my cheek. Then I hope to have surgery to hold my ear back. My appliance falls off.
But weight and work-outs are always on my mind.

How many of us are afraid to work-out or to learn to eat cleaner.? Even tho I've had several health problems, I still try. Its so weird, going back in time, the stuff we use to eat, yuck!
Also don,t set and an impossible goal. Also as you get older, you need to weight train. For your muscles, bones, helps to keep from falling.
In the gym, I have to improvise now because my bursitis in both hips again. I understand that this comes and goes all my life. But I won,t give up! Or to say "I'm too Old". Right now I can,t jump, or ride a stationary bike or elliptical. but I can do a rowing machine. and upper body weights.
Also don,t eat much before working out, and after a shake and fruit.

Hi all! its been a while, I have another granddaughter, born on 7-7-13. Shes in CA,I'm going in Oct.
After everthing I've been thru, I still kept doing some things , to keep some muscle. Working on it now. Bursitis is back, on ice now. After last year , and this year so far, I've never given up. I hope you all feel the same way! Cherie
