Back on track!!

Had a bad few days with carbs and fast food but as of this morning I have gotten myself on track and made excellent decisions. Started off with eating 2 hard boiled eggs, made my own iced vanilla cinnamon coffee, pineapple slice and a curve bar that was equivilant to one carb.

My mid morning snack will be a cup of yogurt

Lunch-Healthy Choice Salsbury entee w/salad lite dressing and Apple

Mid after noon snack-banana with peanut butter 1tsp.

Dinner-will be broiled chicken 4oz with 1 cup of brown rice and some type of veggie.

Dessert/snack-Curve bar with milk. (or fruit & yogurt)

my goal is to stay within my range, plus will exercise tonight ....

Game plan is to build back my consistency!! One meal at a time, I know I can do this!!!!!

I'm having a really hard time with my eating, I am having a major carb attack..... for me that is dangerous.... argh!!!! Having a hard time getting back on track!!!! I maintain this week!!! I have a goal to lose-and meet by 10/2 and at this rate I won't make it :(!!!!

My trigger was the downer of getting my monthly after the fertility treatment last month. How do I get passed fast food for breakfast!!! I think I need a hug and a kick in the butt!!!

    OK - First of all....breathe, baby, breathe!!!
Second - go to the store. Buy some of those resealable plastic containers and some inexpensive lunchmeat (ham is good, turkey works too) and some string cheese. In the morning (or the night before) scramble you 3-4 egg whites with 1-2 pieces of chopped up ham and sliced wheels of string cheese. Do not add salt, but a salt substitute if you can help it. And a little pepper. Use that for breakfast. It doesn't sound good right now, but it is VERY LOW CARB, and filling. And when you make it the night before, the flavors meld together!!

Those carbs really suck - So start with breakfast...All it takes is a little planning!!

Fertility Update (today is it)

Fertility update
So this is it, O day, I got my postive read on my OPK Kit and it is time to finally go in for IUI. I can only hope that this works, not getting my hopes up but hope that we get the BFP!!!

I went to the RE on Tuesday and the found 2 eggs on the right ovary nice and big and then 3 on the left that were smaller. Hoping Byron can do his thing today to get the IUI done. There is alot of pressure on him too to perferm on the spur, but considering all of what I have had to go through i'm sure he'll do fine.

So much is going through my head as we embark on this next step. My body is finnally cooperating with me. After a major panic attack and a dr calling me back to reassure me this postive means the world to me. I finally don't feel broken. PCOS is something of a pain, I have had to learn how to eat all over again which is good, lost 18# in the past 9 weeks and kept it off. I will work my butt off to do all that is asked of me if God blesses us with our miracle.

I can only have FAITH. We can help nature along the way but ultimately it is not completely in our hands but in God. I have hope and faith which is how it should be.

    Think Positive...I know thats hard when there are people out there (like me) that get pregnant by washing our socks together...But I PROMISE YOU that being a parent will be so worth all of the trials you have endured. You have a big heart and will be a fantastic momma! So, have faith...And we are all behind you praying for your success!!

Do you get enough quality sleep and do you know that if you don't it will hinder your weightloss???

The more I read the more I continue to hear that if you don't have the qulaity sleep and enough of it, it can hinder your weightloss goals.

So each night this week i've been going to bed 15 minutes earlier...

I had an acupuncture appt yesterday to prepare me for my fertility treatment this week. Byron had to attend as well to learn how to apply the acupressure on our treatment day. Today I had an appointment with my Reproductive Encronologist (aka as Fertility specialist) I had an ultrasound done to see how many i have produced with the fertility drugs. It was great I had a total of 5, 2 on the right ovary and 3 on the left ovary. The doctor feels I have a good chance with the two bigger ones on the right ovary vs the 3 on the left they were smaller. So once I get a postive read on my Ovulation monitor we go in for the IUI (insemination) which so far is tentivily set for Thursday or Friday.
