I'm powered up to do more for myself exercise wise after review the following pictures and seeing for myself what progress i have made since 2006 it really shows:

2006 spring srd for tops

2006 summer campout

Panther Creek Campout 2009

SRD Spring 2010

SRD Spring 2011

Mt Retreat 2011

Mt Retreat 2012

Half Marathon Finisher 2012 Sept

Amazing to see the toning, my fitness, my mental attitude as well I am really proud as i was doing this!! While I wish the scale would move i know in 2006 i could not have walked a half. Look how far i have come in six years! I am beautiful and proud the scale does not define me!!!

I am AMAZING! 2013 will see more changes!!!

Great to have that visual record. It's also a good idea to take the time to reflect on how far you've come, it's so easy to live in the everyday and feel like you're never going reach your goal - but looking back sure allows you to see how far you've come, and really celebrate moving forward!

Good attitude. And taking a day off from exercise is a good thing.

Very busy at work!! Feel like a sinue infection is approaching. I lost 4.4 pounds as of this am.. haven't really change much but not stressing or obsessing over things and have added exercise back slowly.. just trying to not obsess just do things as if they are my new norm, that mentality seems to work better for me.

The last few days have been crazy busy but getting into more of a routine. I got to speak with my buddy who i did the half marathon with and he really reminded me on how him and i had lost weight without it being such an ordeal as i make at times. It was just eating what i wanted but less which kept me from feeling deprieved which lately i haven't. Trying to take the emphasis off food and just being healthy. Went t therapy on Monday and she was happy on the changes i have been making and the postive attitude especailly in the wake of so much violence happening she was worried I would set me back. I told her i haven't watch much tv and kept m facebooking to a minimum so not to be exposed as much. While it breaks my heart to know it i think i have to come first in order to keep healing on my end. I have seen enough violence in my lifetime.

Well i blogged today as well because i will be working late, working out and then heading home to bed. This time of year is always crazy busy!!!! Still in the Christmas Cheer & not stressing as things seem to be coming together for the most part. :)

Looks like you've got yourself a great plan - and you're right, we do need to keep going, despite what's happening in the world. Because if we don't move past these events, then the bad guy wins. I understand your pain and I've avoided my computer and the news myself. Here's to hoping that happier times for all will be on the horizon!

You are doing wonderfully! Keep remembering that you have to take care of yourself before you can take care of anyone else, your batteries need to be fully charged so that you have something to give to others. I know that's a hard one but it's very true, especially this time of year.

New Challenge - how to manage my stress

1. Make a budget & stick with it.
2. Work the extra hours when you can this week.
3. You cannot change the situation so know it will work eventually, remember these situations are temporary.

Today was rough i probably worried to much but finances are tight, really tight. It's been 18 mos since my husband applied for his disability we are finally getting a hearing in february so his attorney told him hoping it will work out soon it's been a long time of downsizing as much as i can to make things work but grocery bills and gas have been the killer lately as has a few bills that are costing more than last year. Medical bills have been the kiss of death since we both had surgeries. Christmas will be slim but overall it's not about gifts it's about family and friends. I am making some things to give and hubby is baking gifts.

Okay well enough of that hoping things will all fall into place! Patience!

The best gift you have is each other and your health is making strides for a long and happy life together!
You could make "coupons" to give him like an afternoon where you spend watching football with him (even if you don;t like it) or whatever, use your imagination here. I've done this and it's lots of fun, you know things he likes, maybe it's a week of no chores.
You are doing an awesome job on your goals, and I know although Christmas is a joyful season, it does bring a fair bit of stress, just keep focusing on your goals and I will continue to send good thoughts and prayers your way.
