Journaling emoticon
Me time emoticon
Exercise - emoticon Motivated and ready to go!!
Sleep - emoticon emoticon

Had a rough day yesterday my co-worker was very rude. I basically told her there was no reason for her to talk to me the way she did. Walked away and took a walk vs. feeding my emotion. I called a friend got her voicemail she called back we ended up doing coffee last night and it gave me a chance to talk it over but I also took a walk when it happened so I was pleased with myself!!

Christmas Day @ Multnomah Falls my husband and i do this annually on Christmas eve or day..

Multnomah Falls i'll be hiking this regularly in order to prep for my next half you can go to the top!!

VERY PROUD!

I love that you do this every year. What a beautiful place! I love hiking, but it's quite a trip to the Appalachian Trail. Some day I'll make it there-- I should add it to my goals for 2013. We do have a place to hike, a beautiful place thatI visit in spring and fall. Summers here are way too hot for hiking.

It is awesome how you handled the co-worker, including telling her there is no reason to talk to you that way. But taking a walk, then talking it over with a friend--WOW! I'm impressed.

Oh Em, sorry you had a rough day. It's tough to walk away, but sometimes it's the least 'expensive' option. One of my 2013 goals is to "LIG" - let it go! There are too many things in life that seem to drive me crazy that I can't change and this new year I'm working on just learning to "let it go" and move on with my life. Realistically if I can't change the situation...and if it's interaction with personalities it's pretty hard to change things, then I'm going to try and just let it go!

Number one resolution!

Hang in there - you're on the right path to your own letting go. Next time I find myself gritting my teeth I'll think of you, take a deep breath, and LIG!

I'm powered up to do more for myself exercise wise after review the following pictures and seeing for myself what progress i have made since 2006 it really shows:

2006 spring srd for tops

2006 summer campout

Panther Creek Campout 2009

SRD Spring 2010

SRD Spring 2011

Mt Retreat 2011

Mt Retreat 2012

Half Marathon Finisher 2012 Sept

Amazing to see the toning, my fitness, my mental attitude as well I am really proud as i was doing this!! While I wish the scale would move i know in 2006 i could not have walked a half. Look how far i have come in six years! I am beautiful and proud the scale does not define me!!!

I am AMAZING! 2013 will see more changes!!!

Great to have that visual record. It's also a good idea to take the time to reflect on how far you've come, it's so easy to live in the everyday and feel like you're never going reach your goal - but looking back sure allows you to see how far you've come, and really celebrate moving forward!

Very busy at work!! Feel like a sinue infection is approaching. I lost 4.4 pounds as of this am.. haven't really change much but not stressing or obsessing over things and have added exercise back slowly.. just trying to not obsess just do things as if they are my new norm, that mentality seems to work better for me.
