I am feeling good!! My mom was alot better today, I believe after the last two days she figured out I wasn't going to tolerate her poop!! She is 82 almost 83 years next month i love but man there are days. Being caregiver to her and husband (disable bad back, adhd & bi-polar) managing that plus a full time job and myself can be a handful & stressful!! Day 3 is done and i feel like i am getting out of my funk... Must not stop journaling good and bad. Blogging has also helped.
Trying to get my groove in my marathon training i really have to kick it up i just hate walking in the dark by myself. so trying to figure out when would work best if going in early and taking a long lunch maybe helpful in the winter months. I hate the treadmill! maybe i can get the husband to walk with me.
I had another fine dinner made by him tonight. Taco salad. He took two corn tortillas and baked them very low temp til they were crispy and put cabbage over them then the taco meat and garnished with salsa and greek yogurt onions, tomatoes and cucumbers plus top it off with fresh cilantro was awesome!! Dessert was Healthy Choice frozen greek yogurt was nice.
Slowly cutting my portions. Hoping by next week i can go half sandwich and soups and cut up veggies or salad and fruit. Working it best I can!!

Yesterday was a great day!! I even handles my dear mother who lives with me who can be very needy selfish and at times rude in her request. I vowed to keep my life positive and when she started her nitpicking crap I told her thank you for letting me know and put my headphones on grabbed my book and went into my room and ignored her i was in my own space and didn't want to be bothered by her crap.
My husband made dinner for me Baked Lemon Cod incrusted with almonds, green beans, greens, and roasted red potatoes. I had half a cup of bean soup and 2 corn tortilla i came in within my calories. My mantra is to keep eating healthy and exercising eventually it will fall into place and the weight will come off. I also got some kid divider plates to help with my portion control. i'm using the two smaller for protein and carbs and then the big area for veggies. It is very eye opening but working for me. I got red and blue cups, snack saucer which has a little area for dip or salad dressing and the trays are also red & blue. I got them at walmart. I find myself savoring my food vs. just scarfing it down. I am trying to enjoy my meals.
Well today is another day and my plan is the same exercise tonight is similar to zumba but is more a latin twist with kick boxing (so latin, dance, hiphop combo on the music) It is a blast and today is a power interval class so hoping tomake it a full 90 mins if possible if not for sure 60 mins. Hoping to have my sleep patterns in so i can start waking up at 5 am to get my walks in b4 work.
oh started my 4 day positive diet. Yesterday i had to list 50 positive things in my day i did it :) today 10 positive affirmations!
