5 min warm up walk
2 mins run/1 min walk (harder then you think i ended up doing 1 1/2 min run twice then went back to 1/1 because it was too hard-I will work up to that one)did 12 mins this time-will add 2 mins each day.
5 min cool down

    Hey, you are making progress...great job! I run a minute and I am ready to slow it back down again, so I understand how you feel. "They" say it gets easier - and it must - or there wouldn't be soo many people doing it! :)

    Emmy, I remember when I first started to run: Near the end of my "1 minute run" my finger would be poised on the stop button on my treadmill, I'd be out of breath and feel like I was dying those last few seconds. Hee-Hee! It amused me to think of that when I was out doing races or long runs. Someday it will amuse you too, looking back out how far you will have come. You are doing great, I'm enjoying watching your progress. emoticon

Day 3 & 4

Day 3 was a day off

Day 4 was the same as 1&2

Going well, my ankle is not bothering me so i'm still going strong :) Just wishing it wasn't getting dark so soon and have to come up with a game plan when day light savings ends and it will be dark, thinking morning runs vs pm ones.

Day 1 of Run/Walk Training

Did my first walk/run work out last night it called fcr 30 mins but I did 20 mins 5 min warm up, 10 mins of run/walk 1 min each then 5 min cool down walk.

It felt good. I feel like i CAN do it!
