Another restart

Today is day 3 of my remotivation. I walked for 25 minutes on Monday. It was very depressing to realize that is how long it walk a mile. Now I know my starting point though. Last night I did level one of Biggest Loser Boot Camp. I have been an on and off exerciser for years, but I don't really sweat. Last night, I was pouring sweat -- like gray shirt changed color, hair stuck to my head, pouring sweat. I can already tell a difference in my breathing today. I can breathe deeper -- great feeling! Tonight is back to the track and BL Yoga. As far as food, Monday, I had a McDonald's breakfast burriot for breakfast, a McD's yogurt parfait for lunch. Then Monday night was not so good. I fixed Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Macaroni with green beans. I measured a cup of both. Went back and measured another cup. My daughter ate a cup of both, then she had a half cup, and I ate the rest of the pan. It sucks to love HH so much that I can eat the whole box by myself, but then to let myself eat all that was discouraging. But Yesterday was much better. I had a banana and string cheese for breakfast, 3 oz. smoked turkey for lunch with 1/2 of an onion ( no kisses for me yesterday!) Then for supper last night, I had 4 oz. hamburger meat, trick mashed potatoes with cauliflower (our absolute favorite vegetable when fixed that way), and 1 cup of hominy. today, I started my day with a Carnation Instant breakfast at 8am, and it is now noon, and I am still not hungry. So, here we are again. Day 3 and still on track. Currently that is a record for me...

    Great Job!!! Congratulations on a great start! Trust me, we know how hard it is to get started! It's like riding a bike... it's hard to get your balance at first and learn how to push the peddles at the same time, but you're off to a wonderful start especially with the "awareness" of what you're doing right and wrong! Keep up the good work and remember to pat yourself on the back from time to time... we need that!!! emoticon
