DAY 10 (SATURDAY)

I'M SPARKLING!!!!

I have my FOCUS on goals and am stuck there for the next week in fact I think I will share them with you. I am spending my quiet time figuring them out according to my Values & Beliefs, Purpose & Vision, making them uniquely mine, concrete (exact & specific), inner directed (that part takes time to search my heart), harmonious (shouldn't conflict with values, beliefs, life purpose), realistic (baby steps), & written:

GOALS:

BREAKING THEM DOWN ~

I. LONG-TERM GOALS ~ Be Healthy & Fit

50 Pounds Lost!!!!

II. MEDIUM-TERM MILESTONE ~

Lose 25#
188 - 178 = 10 pounds lost 2/12/2010
Lose 15 more to reach my medium-term milestone
I want to lose 5# in four weeks (at TOPS I said .5 per week)

III.SHORT-TERM "ACTION STEPS" ~ A few high priority in line with values.."sweet spot" special place where goals converge and support each other.

2) Eat 6 fresh fruits & veggies
3) 3,500 to 5,500 steps per day (WITH MY OMROM)
3) Do optional work up to next level Strength Training
4) Continue logging nutrition on SP

FOCUS: Faith Overcomes Challenges Undermining Success
SOAR: Stop Over-reacting About Relapses OR Sustain Optimism - Avoid Relapse (into negative mindset)
QUEST: Quit Using Excuses Sabotaging Triumph

FOCUS ~ Today was one of challenge where I need faith to move on. I did my Bible study in the book of Psalm 141 and on. I found jewels from the LORD.

There is no excuse for not excercising, it was just my day off!

My nutrition fell in the alloted amount from 1200 ~ 1550 (SUCCESS)

Drinking my water was within my alloted amoutn ~ 8 glasses (SUCCESS)

Declutter ~ I organized some papers in boxes (SUCCESS)

Tomorrow my goals are to declutter more and wear my pedometer ~ walking.

    Great blog and great goals!

I am working on decluttering too. I might be able to get out today to exchange my pedometer. I was working on pedometer wearing and getting my steps up to 10K by the First Day of Spring (Mar 20).

DAY 8

Thursday, February 11, 2010

"Consistent small gains over time equals big success."

This is the second week. Today I purchased some flowers to reward myself for sticking to it one week. It is getting to be more of a habit.

I stayed within my calories (1268), drinking 8 waters, eating 8 fruits & veggies. Ate fish again today, that makes twice this week. Tracked eats, water & excercise.

Walked with Leslie Sansone for 30 minutes = 2 miles...I hadn't done LS for a long time and I sure feel it!!

I spent some down time reading the word & resting.

I have decided to do the declutter 5 days of the week...I got my boxes out and ready for the morning as I want to be in bed early and get my 8 hours.

It was a good day!!! My flowers are hot pink gerber, light pink carnations, light pink snapdrapons, hot pink daisies, light pink lilies with greens all arranged in my tall vase that my friend gave me.

Thanks for reading my blog!

THOUGHT #82
"If you can approach every experience as a gift, even if it's not exactly what you had in mind, you can just say thank you and go on with your life instead of stewing over what you think you were entitled to." ~ Thomas Kindade

Today was the seventh day and I am still blogging. I sure can see the advantage of doing this as I make my eating and excercise choices a priority. In the back of my mind I keep thinking that I will record everything I do. It keeps me accountable knowing it will be read by fellow team mates.

Today was weigh in and measurements day. I lost 1 pound and 1 inch total...according to my scale. My counts were within my goals. Water drank was eight glasses.

Goals for Week 2:
Total calories ~ 1250 to 1500
Excercise ~ 30 minutes daily whether in 10 minute increments or all at once.
Stress ~ work on finding times during the day to relax, stretches.
Tracking ~ Nutrition and Excercise & Blog daily.
Declutter ~ 1 hour of declutter daily for 5 days (working on paper maze).
Reward myself at the end of the week.

Thank you for reading my blog and for your comments.

I am so thankful to God that I have the tools to make my body and mind healthy.
