This was a memorable Valentine's Day!!!
I planned ahead with light breakfast, 1/2 grapefruit; light lunch, toast, hard boiled egg because I was invited to a Valentine Dinner at...
The Bavarian Haus:
Mixed greens with tomato, red onion & dressing on the side.
Marinated Sliced steaks (two medallion size), with mushroom sauce,Augratin Potaoe & Mixed Veggies of squash, yellow & orange carrots. Tarts of apple strudel (so cute)sooooo stayed within my calorie range of 1400 to 1550. I was at 1444 calories. Drank lots of water today.
Sunday service was beautiful!!! Since Sunday is don't excercise ...I watched a movie & had airpopped popcorn...

I have my FOCUS on goals and am stuck there for the next week in fact I think I will share them with you. I am spending my quiet time figuring them out according to my Values & Beliefs, Purpose & Vision, making them uniquely mine, concrete (exact & specific), inner directed (that part takes time to search my heart), harmonious (shouldn't conflict with values, beliefs, life purpose), realistic (baby steps), & written:
BREAKING THEM DOWN ~
I. LONG-TERM GOALS ~ Be Healthy & Fit
50 Pounds Lost!!!!
II. MEDIUM-TERM MILESTONE ~
188 - 178 = 10 pounds lost 2/12/2010
Lose 15 more to reach my medium-term milestone
I want to lose 5# in four weeks (at TOPS I said .5 per week)
III.SHORT-TERM "ACTION STEPS" ~ A few high priority in line with values.."sweet spot" special place where goals converge and support each other.
1) Do cardio 5 times per week TREADMILL/WALKING
2) Eat 6 fresh fruits & veggies
3) 3,500 to 5,500 steps per day (WITH MY OMROM)
3) Do optional work up to next level Strength Training
4) Continue logging nutrition on SP
5) Drink 8-10 glasses water daily
6) 2 fish per week
7) 1200 - 1550 Calories
8) Get 6-8 hours ...sleep
9) Continue with supportive group; Team II & TOPS
10)Another Goal is to make a poster with visuals.

"Consistent small gains over time equals big success."
This is the second week. Today I purchased some flowers to reward myself for sticking to it one week. It is getting to be more of a habit.
I stayed within my calories (1268), drinking 8 waters, eating 8 fruits & veggies. Ate fish again today, that makes twice this week. Tracked eats, water & excercise.
Walked with Leslie Sansone for 30 minutes = 2 miles...I hadn't done LS for a long time and I sure feel it!!
I spent some down time reading the word & resting.
I have decided to do the declutter 5 days of the week...I got my boxes out and ready for the morning as I want to be in bed early and get my 8 hours.
It was a good day!!! My flowers are hot pink gerber, light pink carnations, light pink snapdrapons, hot pink daisies, light pink lilies with greens all arranged in my tall vase that my friend gave me.
I am getting ready for bed and read awhile...my treat.
