Am I really a TRUE MOCHA MANIAC?
Tomorrow moring I leave for a week long business trip with my boss. I will be bringing with me some "healthier" car snacks, as we are driving. My boss loves to eat. He loves delicious, if not healthy, food. I will need to make my own choices here. I will need to be able to "order" healthier options. Repeat after me...I'd like a double portion of steamed veggies, please." and "could you bake and not sautee that fish in that delicious butter?" But I have two weeks - 8 days of being on the road with him. In addition, I am looking at how to get my exercise in. Some of it, I will be able to do because I have found my bands and will be able to strength train or even the Monday FuNDAY we did today. That was fantastic.
I'll be in a hotels with gyms. Gotta use em. And pack enough workout clothes and socks and tennies. It all adds up but its worth it to buy smaller clothes, right?

I wrote this a few days ago on my printed out guide to the weekend challenge. Just now getting it blogged. After reading a few others, I'm more determined than EVER to succeed at this.
My alarm says when it goes off, "Every day is a new day." It will take months and months to achieve the overall results of losing over 100#'s, but EVERY DAY I can celebrate my small, moment to moment, day to day, week to week achievements. I hereby give myself permission to be happy and to celebrate my successes. I do not give myself permission to punish myself with food or for making a small mistake. I'm human. I will fall, but I will get up because every day is a new day.

I am so thrilled right now. After watching every single bite I ate SUnday - Wed, I am down 3 pounds. Imagine if I could keep this up. I think you are all correct, if I just take it one meal at a time or one day at a time, then I won't be overwhelmed. Iso just want to lose 50 lbs. It's BIG goal number 1. And i can do it. I'm just 51 away, hahah!

I've been streaking with my exercise with gazell intensity. However, I haven't lost any weight. After taking the portion distortion quiz, the answer may have been revealed. I only got 6 of 16 questions correct.
So, now I know to watch my portions. And stop when full. And I am only have healthy food in the house right now.
This is good - right? I hope this works because if I do not lose a significant amount of weight by the end of this year, I'm going to have surgery. I will not be fat for the rest of my life. And I'm working very diligently with losing the fat.
Grumpy about being fat.
