Consistency

Friday, April 26, 2013

I have seldom been consistent, with the exception of bad habits, in my life. It is a lot harder to be consistent with the good things. So far, I have been consistent with water and logging on here. Exercise is pretty good, but food is tough. I'm a picky eater, as my husband says, and it's hard to get the right balance, but I'm working on it!

All you can do is tackle one thing at a time. When you have that mastered then go on to the next thing.

Will to Succeed

Thursday, April 25, 2013

I am thinking the will to succeed is the most crucial thing in a person's life. When things aren't going your way (big or small), the people that keep on going no matter what are ultimately successful. I have to believe and remember this!

Guilt?

Sunday, April 21, 2013

"I feel guilty for____________.". Fill in the blank. I put pressure on myself for a lot of things: being an excellent teacher and wife, for example. the pressure is really on for the wife part because i am married to an incredibly thoughtful guy. I know i definitely go the better end of that deal! My point is that most of the time i see guilt as a negative thing that proves i am not as good as i could be. I am getting to the point when I feel bad when I don't exercise. Guilty, yes, but I do something about and go work out. Guilt is becoming positive, in this instance. I still feel guilty about a lot of things, but this is a priority and an aspect of my life that I can control!
