The Umtenth New Beginning

The Spark Fitness Tracker arrived Friday. How exciting - I had only ordered it Tuesday. Today it is setting up. I hope I don't have to set up a new account. I guess if that's the case, I'll just have 2. One for tracking and one to chat and learn with my spark family.

I also promised to keep you posted on weather around here. It's been bright and sunny. Perfect autumn days. A bit of a chill in the morning, gorgeous the rest of the day.

I'll also keep you posted how my new tracker works out. I never did find my fitbit. I think it's somewhere in Albequerque.

    I hope you like your new tracker. We've gotten snow twice so far, but it hasn't stuck yet. I'm interested to see what kind of winter we get here after the abnormal spring and summer.

30 Day Challenge: Appreciation

My women's Bible study class is titled "True Woman 101. Divine Design". We'll study from a book of the same title. There is also a website that I explored.

One of the (free) offerings is a 30 day appreciation challenge. I signed up for the daily email.
How life-changing this combination will be for me. It's going to be intense, I can already tell.

I said I needed to work on balance. Here's a chance to enhance the spiritual. I am excited to be on this path.

New for my daily check-off list: Think it Out. I'd casually thought about this in the past, but time to make this a habit. Today I read a SP secret of success to do just this and it inspired me.

Do I need this food?
Will it sabotage my plan?
Is it a trigger food?

Should I decide to eat it:
Am I tracking it and tracking it accurately?
Am I using portion control?
Am I savoring the flavor and feeling the texture?

    Great reminder, thanks for sharing - I really haven't thought about what my trigger foods are. I finally discovered that I am a BIG Time emotional eater. I will have to give trigger foods more thought.
