"Leslie Sansone Walk at Home: 5 miles"
It went great. Oh, I admit about mile 3 I was getting weak. I figured I'd do at least 4 of the 5. Before I knew it I was finishing mile 4. I was feeling better now than I did a mile ago! The goats were free-ranging so I had to keep my eye on them so they didn't get up into the road. That took my mind off what I was doing. I heard Leslie say we were halfway through mile 5! Of course I can do that last 6 minutes. So I did!
Of course walking in the charity walk will be straight walking. Doing this workout gave me confidence. I'm not the least bit nervous about the walk anymore. If I can do 5 miles while kicking, side-stepping and doing a little upper-body resistence training that event will be fun and maybe even easy!
