I've been serving meals off smaller plates for quite some time. This had nothing to do with portion control. I just happened to find some really nice plates and started using them everyday. Then I started SP and actually measuring my portions. Wow! To get the nutrition I have to eat it all, and sometimes it seems like I am stuff, stuff, stuffing! Those plates are filled!
Solution: Make meals that will make great snacks, too. Still getting the nutrients - just spread out during the day.
