I decided yesterday to try a new approach to my skin care, something I've abused for years - trying many different scrubs, exfoliants, creams, lotions, mutilating my face with picking at stuff ... you know where I'm coming from. I am going to give it all up and work on cleansing and moisturizing by proper nutrition, hydration, and exercise. This is going to be difficult for me but I'm giving up my 10x magnigying stickon mirror! Yes, I am...I love/hate that thing, how it makes my pores look like craters and every stray hair like a wire - It was salvaged from the trash where my aunt threw it because it was making her crazy - now it's making me crazy obcessed. My husband keeps telling me it's not real- looking in that thing - no one sees anything like that on your face . He's right, I know, so here goes day 2 and I'm feeling good :-)

  great idea! and so true about how no one in real life really sees your face like you do in a magnifying mirror! i now only use one when i need to pluck my eyebrows :)

Works every time, just plan ahead and eat on schedule. I do much betteron a set regimen and plan, left to my own devices I'll snack all day - on healthy things , but it makes me feel like all I do is eat constantly. Today was a perfect day which gives me the drive to do it again tomorrow.

Ok, so I'm definitely not a blogger - just can't get in the habit of doing it, so I'm going to at least try to post one tip of the day each day for myself to remember and STICK to it!

I feel so good today, even though my report says I'm under on all my nutrition goals for the day - I feel in control , no cravings - it was easy for the firs time in awhile. I think it's the endorphines kicking in. I really pushed myself today, all my aches and pains left, I'm feeling flexible, capable and strong - I LOVE IT! I got out the old jumprope and kept trying to beat my reps each successive interval, I know it will get easier every time I do it and I'm excited about it.

I find myself not wanting to sleep when I feel this good because I can't wait to get up and get going again - it's crazy, don't you wish we could bottle this feeling to keep around for the bad days? Tomorrow I'm going to try pullups again - I can almost see the lean definition in my hipbone area again - I know it's working when it shows there,
