The ancient Chinese yin-yang symbol represents the balance of yin (peacefulness, serenity, acceptance, rest, rejuvenation, roots, tradition) with yang (activity, strength, striving, movement, change, wings, invention, progress). A meaningful and joyful life is to be found in balance.

Life is a balance between rest and movement.
- Osho

Sometimes it's hard to find balance in our busy lives. But make time to be balanced.

I have decided to stick with love.
Hate is too great a burden to bear.
- Martin Luther King, Jr.

Life is way too short to hate and to spread hate. So spread love instead!

What Do You See

Wednesday, January 09, 2013

    I like it.

Yep, whether we are forgiving someone else (even one who can't admit they've wronged us) or ourselves, we've got to let it go lest it consumes us.

Forgiveness can be hard but it is necessary for moving forward in life.

Make it a great day!

If you want to feel rich,
just count all of the things you have that money can't buy.
- Anonymous

I know I am truly a rich person with all my friends and family, for my son and my fiance, my education and my values. I couldn't be any richer!

@ Goldenrodgirl - sounds like you have a much better and happier life! Good for you!

@ Mommy2madilyn - I completely understand, I happen to live in Aurora, CO where we had the movie theatre shooting back in July. It is so surreal and it truly makes you happy for what you have. Thank you.

Thank you! One of the reasons I'm glad I'm no longer with my ex is that he *refused* to measure his worth by anything other than money. It's kind of liberating not to have to argue that point any more!

Isn't that what we truly have to remember, especially in the wake of the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut? I have been realizing just how much I have to be thankful for!
