Okay so I have not had a good week healthwise, this has been a very bad cold. I have suffered so much, my nose keeps running and my forehead still really hurts.
On Friday I didn't go to work, only my second day off ill in 7 years and didn't feel like food at all - so my family really knew I was ill! Even by Monday I could still take or leave my food, I wasn't hungry at all. Really not like me.
However I went to my Slimming World class last night, only stayed for weigh in because I don't want to 'share' this cold and the scales were great?! I knew that I was in a much better shape, I could feel it but didn't expect to be so light - 6lbs off!! Lets hope I can maintain it this week.
Its not just the illness I have stuck to the SW principles and not done any comfort eating to make myself feel better so am really smiling! At last I am under 13 stones again, my bra and trousers fit better its great
I am feeling more positive, even though the extra eating is showing on my thighs (rubbing together a little and haven't done that for ages!) - too much sweet stuff.
The line is drawn though.
Think I have been eating a little too much and thinking I could get away with it as I'm doing so much exercise! Oh well now I have realised I can't do that! Its not worth it. Binge on healthy food if I have to but not sweet stuff!
I do have a lot to do this week. I'm lucky that I finish work on Thursday for the 6 weeks school holiday and on Friday we are going to Butlins for a week.
My children still don't know about it. They think we are just going to meet my spanish friend and her children who are in Buxton at the moment. Yes we are meeting them but not till Friday the 27th.
So lots of organisation needed - lists! Getting house tidy before we go and packing done without kids knowing. Wish me luck! Better get on with it now. My hubby is at work early and so an early start is always good to get stuff done and the sun is shining here, long may the positivity last!
