The little things :)

Friday, March 08, 2013

I feel so much less anxious today. I got up and put on nice clothes and did my makeup and I really feel like I can take the day on today. My daughter brought me a fiber bar so I am already starting out awesome!! And she is being relatively good looking at pictures. The little things get me through the day :)

Here I go.

This is it. I desperately need organization in my life, so here I go.

Neck: 15.5
Smallest waist: 39
Belly B. waist: 42.5
Hips: 48
Bust: 41
Thigh: 30
Weight: 229 lbs

A+F largest measurements:
Bust: 38 in
Waist: 30 in

Mini goal: -11.45lbs (5%)
Mini goal 2: -29 lbs (10%)
Goal: -41 lbs (188)
Ultimate goal: -57 lbs (172)

Bad Habit Reminder
One typical mcdonalds meal
1150 calories
161 carbs
48 fat
28 protein

(High set goal, but I would like to lose the 5% and some stomach inches by in one month)
(According to weight calculator I could weigh 125 by Kira's birthday next year. That -104 lbs!)

A little information about myself. In 2008 I was down to 172 lbs when I was in my dorm and I felt amazing! I was in a size 12 and was ready to lose the weight. 2010 came around and I was 182 lbs and gained (and lost!) 20 lbs from pregnancy. After I had my baby I developed post partum hypothyroidism and have gained at least 40 lbs. I feel like a giant blob and I am extremely uncomfortable. Nothing fits at ALL. I am currently in a size 18/20. I do not need to be skinny, but I would sooo love it to be 170 lbs again!

Just keep tracking & making time for cardio & you will see those inches & pounds glide off...

God bless,

Week 3 Reflection

Weight: 197, -7 lbs

I am in my fourth week now. I actually can't believe this is happening. And I kind of feel like putting myself down and saying 'Well, you didn't track and exercise everyday and you are weighing 1st thing in the morning so your weight probably went up!'. But you know what? I am not supposed to be perfect at this. I can take breaks and personal time for me. I can have that big slice of pizza guilt free. I can decide not to walk. Because this is what keeps me going. I lost SEVEN, YES, SEVEN, POUNDS! I just have to remind myself everyday that instead of weighing 197, I could weigh 211, then it would be ever harder to lose this weight! In about a month I will be going back to the doctor to get my cholesterol tested. And you know what? If I continue the way I'm going, I just might weigh 189 lbs! BIG BIG difference between 204 and 189.
I have already had amazing things happen. After 11 months, I finally got my period back. And that alone is a huge sigh of relief. So who knows, if I eat really well this week and walk everyday, I could lose a TON next week because of this.
I am too excited. I feel renewed and ready to go.
I didn't do too well this past week, but thats ok because I am STILL 7 lbs down!
Woo Hoo!
And I think I may have to promise myself not to step on that darn scale.

Week 1 Reflection

Weight: 200, -4 lbs

Well, I did it. I made it through an entire week, still motivated and ready to do this. However, I am disappointed that I didn't lose 5 lbs, so I am going to blog myself through it. First of all, I may have lost up to 7 lbs because I bought a new scale. The old one said 207, but the doctor weighed me at 204. That old scale now says 200. And I am just generally stressed out. But I need to get over that and focus on some goal setting. Because I did AMAZING this week and I need to tell myself that! Because if I didn't come back to SparkPeople this week, I could have GAINED 4 lbs, at least.
Now I just need to figure out what I need to do to lose more this week.

I Challenge You

Wednesday, September 14, 2011

Ok, so I just weighed myself. I gained it all back. Why? Because I didn't commit myself to changing one small thing everyday. Or maybe I just went too fast. But, I really think it's time to step into Stage 2. I know exactly what I am doing wrong. So I challenge myself. One challenge a day for a week. Too bad all my motivation comes way late at night.

9/15 Challenge: Drink 8 little bottles of water.
