WOO HOO! Nine days is AWESOME!! Keep going! Even "just 10 minutes" is wonderful. I pledged "just 10 minutes" every day for 100 days and ended up going all 365! Now it's a habit I don't think I'll ever give up.
GOOD FOR YOU!!!

I used to watch the news, but that just got too depressing so now I watch home improvement shows on the HG channel.

After a workout half some dark chocolate which will bring more oxygen to replenish any muscle soreness

Carbs after a workout ..Researchers from the University of Michigan discovered that what you eat following a workout may trigger different metabolic responses... bouts of exercise all improved insulin sensitivity, but it was especially enhanced when the session included a low-carb meal. Protein helps repair and rebuild muscles especially when eating 1/2 hour after exercise.

If you really want to treat your body right you should try to drink small gulps frequently, particularly while exercising.

When I walk I say prayers and think about all the things I am grateful for.

Congratulations on getting back on your treadmill. Don't push yourself too hard though at the beginning. 48 to 72 hours after a workout is when the pain sets in. People over do exercise, hurt and are stiff and then quit. Hope you don't hurt too much in a couple days. emoticon emoticon
