I'm back

Friday, April 26, 2013

If God Brings You to it.. He will Bring you Through it!" That is what I keep saying. I have completed 10 chemo sessions and that is where it will stand. Session 11 put me into the hospital, so they stopped it. We had a heart to heart with my oncologist, looked at all my reports & they were all good. The blood tests showed no cancer and we opted to go with the end of treatment. I had one more blood test 4/17 & all the numbers were good platelets still low but in time they should get back to normal. in a few weeks going for a cat scan then see doc ever 6 to 8 weeks for blood work & port maintenance. then hopefully have the port removed.
Feeling good but still tired.
I asked the doc if I can go back on my weight loss plan and he said Yes..As long as I take all my vitamins and do a little exercise slow then build up.
Doing Happy Dance. Thank you all for your prayers & support. It truly means a lot to us.
Now back to One Day At A Time.

Email from God I love this wanted to share

Thursday, July 26, 2012

If God brings you to it, he Will bring you through it.
Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments worship God.
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God.

TO: You
DATE: Today
FROM: God
SUBJECT: Yourself
REFERENCE: LIFE.

This is God. Today I Will be handling all of your problems. I do not need your help. So, have a nice day. I love you.

P.S. And remember... If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it yourself! Kindly put it in the SFGTD (Something For God To Do) Box. I Will get to it in MY TIME. All situations Will be resolved, but in my time, not yours.
Once the matter is placed in the box, do not hold onto it by worrying about it..... Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life now.
Should you decide to read this to a friend; thank you. You may have changed their life in ways you Will never know.
Now, you have a nice day.

God.

I love this blog. I just came through a insurance problem and didn't win. A chiro lied about my injury to cover up his mistake. Jesus is telling me that He will handle it in His time and that I should leave it with Him. Your blog goes along with this. Thanks for sharing. Hugs Dorothy

Sad News to share

Tuesday, May 08, 2012

Sadly, I will be on and off SP due to being diagnosed with Colon Cancer. Found during a recent colonoscopy. Awaiting authorization for surgery from the insurance company. On a positive note the surgeon thinks it will just be a section, but until they go in, it is all conjecture. Then again until they receive a pathology report and I speak with an oncologist.
My Faith is strong & I believe in Miracles and Prayers.
I ask you my friends to keep not only me in your prayers but my Jack also,.

With Love
Donna emoticon

Donna, I am so very sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jack and your medical team. God definitely hears and answers our prayers according to His plan for us. With Him on your side, you can't go wrong!! If you have any questions at all or if there is anything you aren't comfortable with, feel free to call the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Ken and I go to the one in Philadelphia. There are four in the US and they are currently building another in Atlanta, GA.
We are going to Philadelphia on Sunday as Ken has his mammogram scheduled for Monday before seeing his surgeon. You may remember that he had to have a complete mastectomy two years ago due to having breast cancer. His MD here at home wants him to have his other breast removed for prevention. Of course that is his decision alone.
You and Jack are never far from my thoughts. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you, my friend.
Blessings, love and hugs,
Helen

Very sorry to hear that. I will keep you in my prayers. Hope you have good faith as I think it keeps us going in times like this. Like the others have said, positive thinking and relaxation are great healers. I would say - don't give up Spark - it is not just a weight loss site, come on for encouragement and support and positive thinking. Any when it is over you can be the one to inspire others who find themselves where you are today!

Hi Donna, I'm very sorry about your diagnosis, but I want you to try not too imagine the worst. Visualize the body's own healing power already attacking the cancer, and that healing power working with the chemo or radiation to kick that cancer out! Tranquility is conducive to healing, so meditating regularly will be a great habit to acquire. Prayer, as I know you know, can be very powerful. Let us know how things go.

    Hi Donna,

I hope all goes well with your surgery. I had stage 2B breast cancer at 28 and it's been 18 years since then. You will get through this. Surround yourself with positive uplifting people and talk to others who are going through the same thing.

Take care and best wishes,

From My Best Friend of 40+ Years

FEELINGS:

Donít measure success or failure by material wealth,
measure it by how you feel, feelings determine the richness of our lives.
Do not let the bad moments steal away the precious memories, be patient
Those moments will pass.
When the time comes and you need a friend reach out and let them in we all need
Help from time to time.
Do not quit believing in yourself, hope gives you the strength to keep going even
when you feel like giving up.
As long as you believe there is a reason to continue to keep trying.
Do not run away from love run towards it, for it is our deepest joy.
Never let anyone hold your happiness in there hands, hold it in your own.
Go after what you want, do not wait for it to come to you, do remember
Life will meet you halfway.
Remember you have never lost even when plans and dreams have fallen short of your hopes.
for as long as you have moved forward and have learned something new about yourself
and about life you have made progress.
Always feel good about yourself never loss self-respect it is the essential part of how to feel
good about life.
Remember always how to laugh and that you are never too proud to cry. It is in both that we
live our lives and feel to the fullest, and make us human

Sharing something sent to me

Sunday, December 26, 2010

Wanted to share a beautiful prayer that touched my heart.
Look Upon Us Oh Lord

Look Upon Us, O Lord
Look upon us, O Lord,
and let all the darkness of our souls
vanish before the beams of thy brightness.
Fill us with holy love,
and open to us the treasures of thy wisdom.
All our desire is known unto thee,
therefore perfect what thou hast begun,
and what thy Spirit has awakened us to ask in prayer.
We seek thy face,
turn thy face unto us and show us thy glory.
Then shall our longing be satisfied,
and our peace shall be perfect.

- St. Augustine
