I might have mentioned that I joined a new exercise group called Queen City Dancing Queen (www.qeuuncitydancingqueen.com) at the end of May. The results have been fantastic. I took my stats and here is what I learned:
I lost 3.6 pounds this week alone!
2 inch loss off hips
2 inch loss off bust
2 inch loss off under bust (basically my bra band)
1 inch loss of my waist
BMI decreased
I have so much energy now that when class is over I am truly disappointed. I am having so much fun it's incredible. The classes are great and the people are even better. Yesterday one of my friends came to class with me and halfway through she asked, while panting, "You do this three times a week?" I laughed. I said you learn to love it. She had a look of doubt on her face. LOL
I am now wearing a size large top instead of an extra large and even my extra large bottoms are loose. I feel good. I even feel sexy sometimes, which is a feeling I'd lost after putting on this weight. My hair is growing like a weed. My skin looks and feels great. Ahhhhhhhhhhh...it's an awesome feeling.
I go to Urban Shimmy on Monday, which has a lot of belly dancing moves. I go to Zumba on Wednesday and DanceOut! on Friday. I am now going to use my benches from The Firm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and a little jogging on Saturdays.
That's another thing. I worked out on the fourth of July morning at a class that did a tribute to Michael Jackson and I jogged around the gym four times without stopping. I haven't tried to jog in almost three years due to my injuries and surgeries, but PRAISE GOD! I jogged. And I am going to do it again and again and again.
