Why does it always feel like I'm starting over?

Monday, October 18, 2010

Every time I turn around I feel like I'm working towards the goal of simply starting again. My job is incredibly stressful and on top of that I'm in school part time again. I live in a city where everybody parties all the time. Football seems to run my life in the fall! Why can't I just get into a GOOD habit and stick with it? Why can't I just work out and eat right? Why is sitting in front of a TV watching mindless football and drinking beer more important? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

How many times can you fall off the "weight control, diet, exercise, eating right, healthful living" wagon, before you can stay on????

I am also trying to figure it out! Our day will come when we don't see this as a challenge but as easy as 1.2.3. Good Luck this time around and I wish you nothing but success. emoticon

Back from Vacation

Wednesday, August 04, 2010

So, I fell off the wagon. And, that's mostly funny because I was out West for a Rodeo wearing cowboy boots when it happened. Wonderful fried food, beer after beer after beer, sugar craze, 8 ounces of Wyoming raised beef, mashed potatoes, loads of corn, you name it! I also did very little moving. Sure, I was standing on cement for 10 hours at a time, but that just made me want to move less. And now here I am, back in my day to day...completely unmotivated to go back to the gym.

Inches...

Thursday, July 22, 2010

I got home from my morning bootcamp work out, got undressed to jump in the shower and happened to notice my thighs. They were smaller. Somehow, someway, I'm losing inches. Fantastic!
