Today, if my mother were alive would be celebrating her 103 rd birthday. I do know a women who is still living independently who is 103 years old. Yes, she does all her own cooking and still volunteers at the Jewish Home for the Aged. Someone picks her up and takes her home. Can you believe it.? She is a beautiful women who still has her hair done and puts on makeup everyday.
So today was my busy day and I loved every minute of it. I went to my weekly Weight Watchers meeting and then went to Curves to get my 30 minutes in and then off to Bible study and after that my weekly bridge game.
I had a Dr. Atkins chocolate carmel bar for 1 point, and had some cheese and crackers at my bridge game. I also ate some pineapple. I won $1.25 at bridge which paid for my Mahj game.
I had some leftover meat loaf that I froze when I made it last month and I defrosted it and my DH bought me a sweet potato and he had a bake white potato. It was very good. I had passover sponge cake with cool whip for dessert. One more piece left and its all gone. Thank goodness.
This evening I promised D my friend that I would come to the synagogue to help teach Mahj Jong to some new players. It was really fun. Our table were five players two whom were relatively new. So we took turns sitting out (since you only play with four people) and helped the newbies. By the end of the evening they were doing pretty well. I did Mahj on the last hand and won a prize. Two frames for pictures. Cute. We did not play for money, because this is really a learning experience for some of the ladies.
I came home at 9:15 p.m. and came on SP to finish up getting my points and writing down my foods, exercise etc.
tomorrow is another free day so I will sleep in and go to Curves. Maybe we can catch a movie. in the afternoon
