Today has been a wonderful day. The weather was hot and humid and a good day to turn on the AC. Went to Sabbath services where the Bar Mitzvah boy's parents hosted the luncheon for their guests and congregants attending the services this morning. I was very well behaved and only ate salad, lox, 1/4 cup tuna and fruit. Passed on the noodle kugel and quiche and naturally didn't go to the dessert table. This evening we went to the Sunset Theatre to see the play "Noises Off" a hilarious play. We went to dinner after the play and I ordered a blackened cajun chicken breast sandwich with a side order of fruit. (No fries for me). Left the bun and didn't eat the warm bread which was brought to our table. Still have 4 points left to eat, so I will have some popcorn or almonds before I go to bed. Drank all my water and stayed within my points. All in all a very good day I would say.

This morning, much to my dismay, I got a phone call from my golfing buddy and they decided that we would cancel the golf game because of the threats of thunder storms with lighting in the area. Not a smart idea to be on the golf course with a club in your hands, when lighting is overhead. So I put on my tennies and went to the gym for an hour of cardio. When I came home I made a wonderful lunch which was suggested at our WW meeting where they focused on Breakfast ideas. I had DH buy some Canadian Bacon and I layered Canadian bacon, slice of tomato, one sunny side up egg, 1/4 cup low fat Cheddar cheese and another piece of Canadian bacon. I toasted two pieces of low calorie bread sprayed it with butter spray and wow, that was wonderful. I really enjoyed that treat. I had my hair appointment and then stopped at my favorite place TJ Maxx. I want to replace my brown slacks that were ripped on the plane. I couldn't find any slacks but found a linen brown skirt which I can wear in the meantime. Its a size 12 and its loose on me. Not yet a 10. I bought three tops which are adorable and showed them to DH. He loved the entire purchase and was shocked that I stayed under $100.00. Tonite I am making WW meat loaf, baked potatoes and a garden salad. Will definitely stay within my points. So I have exercised, drunk my water and stayed within my points. Another perfect day. Hope you all have one too.

Went to WW weigh in this morning and gained .4 of a pound. Spoke to leader and we came to the conclusion that because I ate Japanese rice crackers treat from Trader Joe's last night I was holding onto water., Looked at the package when I came home and the stuff is covered with soy sauce which is high is sodium. I am now finishing off the package, cause I need another 2 points to finish off all my points for the day and I will lose the water weight by next Thursday. I walked back home from WW and went to Political Study group with the Rabbi and our little group of 10-12 men and women. Played bridge this afternoon and had terrible hands again. Lots of minor suits and crappy hands all around. Very defensive games and no great games.. ate the pineapple and 1 wedge of low fat laughing cow cheese. Stopped at Subway on the way home and ordered two 6" Jared specials one for Bob and one for me. We went to a concert at Bay Shore Mall which is a new outdoor shopping experience. They have a town square where there is a hugh sidewalk fountain for the kids to romp in and a bandstand which they offer free nightly concerts and activities. Thursday nights are musical concerts. It was the Swing Band era and a great band played and we danced (slow ones) and ate our sandwiches. I brought all the leftover veggies and fruit salad from yesterdays scrabble game to share. Picked up another couple and met two other couples there and had dinner with them. Veggies and fruit salad disappeared. We saw lots of people we know in the community and many did not recognize me for all the weight I lost. I purposely wore my skinny jeans, so I did look hot. I was so proud of the way I looked when dancing, so close to my dh. DH was very proud of me and told me many times. Two restaurants that adjascent to the town square brought food around for everyone to sample of which I did not take any. Pizza, biscuits, carrot cake etc. Bob had grabbed several pieces of hard sugarless candy I had sitting in the living room, before he left, and each time I said no thank you to the samples, he handed me a piece of sugarless candy. Pavlov's dog? A reward for good behavior. So be it. It hit the spot and I didn't do it for the reward. lol lol So the food was great today, drank all my water, so another success story

Today was a great day. Yesterday I got all my cleaning done so I was ready for fun and games. Woke up to rain so that called off our league golf game. So I relaxed and showered and dressed and then cut up veggies, baked the artichoke dip and cut up the fruit for the salad. I invited 3 of my girlfriends for an afternoon of scrabble. One of my friends I haven't seen in many years and that was a treat in itself. We had a wonderful game and then after I cleaned up and put things away I realized that all my activity of the past few days caught up with me. My legs hurt I was exhausted so my dh and I decided on having grilled cheese sandwiches with a small dinner salad. Now we are watching PBS showing of the Broadway Tony award winner "Chess". Now I know why it won. Its wonderful. Josh Groban, the female star from "Wicked" and the ;male star from "Rent". It is absolutely fantastic. So now that I've eaten, drank all my water I am calling it a day.
