Hi..I've had a bit of a break and now I'm back..I missed blogging while I had my granddaughters here for 6 days, then brought them home on Sunday and then off to Weyburn yesterday..man I'm pooped!!
I had a great time with the little girls and made out okay while hubby was gone to Moose Jaw for his 2 days last week (taking care of 2 little girls and 140 cows) the only problem was the afternoon of the last day one of the water bowls froze up just a few hours before hubby came home..too bad it's so cold here still..and last night was a big blizzard again!! with very cold wind chills..it's record cold here for March 1st..hasn't been this cold since 1916 or something. March is in like a lion..hope it's out like a lamb then!!!
Too many days of not tracking or keeping close tabs on what I was eating and I'm up a few pounds so I'm ready to get back on track for March...first to recap February....
My theme was heart health/love/romance...
Refresh spark page..did that :)
Eat red fruits and veggies..did that..lots of tomatoes, apples, red peppers and cranberry juice everyday :)
Focus on heart health..read lots of articles, tried to eat healthy most days, got lots of exercise in..baby steps toward a healthy heart :)
Focus on love..gave goodies to spark friends, etc..connected with friends and family including grandkids, kids, sisters and hubby :) My life is very blessed with all the love in my life :)
Focus on romance...:)
Focus on exercise...rode bike or did chores or swam or chased kids and even used the gym at the spa..granddaughters even made me a weight exercise booklet with pictures and everything of stuff they made up..it's fun to use..gotta love 6 and 9 year olds :)
Make a collage...not yet..I'll try for March...
Tiny chocolate treat daily..well that one was so easy..a few days I had more than one little piece but I bought 2 huge bars of dark chocolate (one with almonds) shared with hubby and still have a few pieces left for special treats..:)
Pamper me daily..well I'm sure I missed a few days of that but I include lots of different things in the pamper category so maybe I did quite well after all :)
Moose Jaw spa..a great weekend :)
lose 4 to 5 pounds ..well I might have lost 4 but gained 6 so all in all not too bad of a month..time to really get sparked and get serious about this!! I let getting busy, or going away make me go off track too easily but I'm not going to beat myself up over it..I gained all this extra weight..40 to 50 pounds over lots of years so I can't expect it to leave this quickly :) Slow and steady is best!!
Well that's my February recap..I'm very happy with my progress and all my healthy habits that are forming..
..look out March..here I come....
