More fall cleaning..

Hi today I fall cleaned the ktchen..that feels great..the house is coming along..slow but sure...This will be a short blog as I'm tired and we are off to Weyburn early tomorrow morning...

I rode my x bike and got lots of exercise washing down the kitchen...

Got lots of Spark points today..well on my way to my points goal..woohoo...

Awesome job with the cleaning. I am going to start on washing walls and shampooing carpets after Sunday, it the days turn nasty so I can't be outside. If I can be outdoors, I will be cleaning the front flower beds. Hi..I spent a busy Sunday working on fall cleaning!! First of all I slept in so that made for a relaxing day..then I thought I should get cracking with the fall cleaning so I can put up the Christmas decorations inside in a couple weeks...

..So I washed curtains, windows, in and out, put away screens and washed down the bathroom..yesterday when I was cleaning the porch I washed all the mats. I got a good start on cleaning and lots of exercise!! I also got back on my bike for 30 minutes to day..actually I just started and a friend called so I visited with her for awhile and then started back on the bike..I hope to ride for 30 minutes everyday until Saturday for my consistency part for the 5% fall challenge!

I made a treat for hubby today..a rustic plum pie..I had a small taste and it turned out quite yummy :)

I also had a visit with my other sister tonight..she has had a busy weekend helping to tin their garage roof :)

Well. I'm going to call it a night and go to bed early tonight..thanks for dropping by and keep on Sparkin'

Hi..I took advantage of the beautiful day and put up the Christmas lights..well hubby helped with some..then some of them wouldn't light so I need a couple new strands for next time I'm in town..I hunted every where for the greenery and flowers and bows I put in my hanging baskets..I finally found them so those are out too!

I also did a major clean up in the porch..looks much better now. One of the jobs was to make up the firestarter bags. I had a 5 gal pail of twigs and pinecones I picked up earlier and I just put them in brown paper lunch bags and tie off with twine. They get the fire started easy :)

This week is week 7 in the 5% fall challenge..the extra is to start an exercise streak..I was going to get on my bike for 30 minutes for my streak but ended up too busy with out active jobs, hopefully tomorrow!! It's hard to believe the challenge is almost over..we're almost at the end of November!! I see I'm quite close to reaching a new level in Spark points..I think my goal for spark points for December is to reach the next level!! It will be less than 2000 pts at this rate so I think I can do it!!

We are having a quiet weekend so I'm just relaxing on the couch with the laptop, tv and background noise of hubby snoring..haha...I played a few games and talked to one of my sisters on the phone, earlier I was chatting on line with my friend who moved to New Zealand...this challenge has been fun and one of the places we visited was New Zealand, another was the Grand Canyon...a place where we just visited in June when we were in Vegas..the high light of the holiday was the helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon!! Now we're off to Tahiti... makes me think of the Eddy Murphy movie..where he says..Neckit in Tahiti.. lol!!

Well..time to get some sleep..I am almost over all my flu/cold symptoms, but still quite tired..even tho i really slept in today..

Oh Wow! The your firestarter idea. I'm going to start collecting twigs. Not to many pinecones around, but plenty of twigs. Even in the summer we like to have a fire in our firepit on the deck. Thanks for the great tip! Report Inappropriate Comment

Hi...yesterday was really fun..We had an okay trip there but there was lots of fog and lots of traffic. I found lots of Christmas gifts and other neat stuff.

We got home late last night and I was too tired to blog...today I rested up a bit, went to town for mail and rounded up the cattle with the quad and helped move them to new grazing. The snow started to melt some but it was still deep in places, I almost got stuck a couple times with the quad and I had it in 4x4!!

This is just a short blog as it's almost off to bed for me...

My little car under the snow...

Hi..I enjoyed getting away for the day yesterday..and found lots of Christmas gifts, got my pictures done for the cards and enjoyed a fun day..

Today we went to town for mail and lunch out..then I finally caught up the farm books!! woohoo!! Also talked to the kids on line to find out what they want for Christmas..we are going to Minot tomorrow for another shopping trip :)

I like to get most of my Christmas shopping finished in November while the selection is still good and the crowds aren't so bad and the weather is nicer... it has gotten a lot nicer since the storm!! some of the snow is even melting :) although I don't know if it will all go or not...

I took a few pics..we'll see if they upload at the end of the blog...or at the start..haha

We are getting an early start tomorrow so I should keep this short..thanks for dropping by and keep on Sparkin'
