Okay, so I am a college educated woman, but I never thought about this before. Where does the weight go? How does it leave your body? How simple is that question?
The answer is that we excrete mostly through respiration and urine. That makes so much sense to me! I have been running to the bathroom 3 to 4 times a day at work, when there were days before when I didn't go at all. Peeing situation explained. LOL!!
I think that I should view this as a NSV. I'm peeing more!! Yippee!! That means that it's working!! :0)

I'm doing pretty well, but not great. I keep allowing my husband to pull me off of the wagon, but luckily he will be heading out on a work trip again for a couple of days. I guess I can say that even though he is pulling me off the wagon, it is on days where I have been busting my butt working around the house. Tonight he was mentioning Dairy Queen. I told him that he and Grant could go get some, but don't bring it home. Problem solved.
Tonight was BBQ chicken, seasoned roasted potatoes and stir fried green beans. Everything was DELICIOUS!! The house smelled fabulous. YUM!! Best of all, I am finally well within my fat intake range. I have been hitting it a little high, while staying within my calorie range.
I came back into this thinking that I actually wanted to stay in the 1500 to 1800 calorie range, rather than the 1200-1550 that SP gives me. I think that my higher range is a more livable long term target for me, but I am trying to challenge myself to stay in the lower range as much as possible. I just don't kick myself if I go a little into my range. I will still lose, just not as fast. This isn't really about doing it fast anyway, it's about doing it right.

So I ate over on my calories over the weekend - both days I might add. Do I feel guilty? Not really. I was busting my rump on redoing the upstairs. Moving furniture, cleaning out closets, etc. I put my activity in as 2 hours of heavy cleaning for each day (which came up to almost 1000 calories a day burned), but I was really working WAY more than 2 hours a day. I just couldn't allow myself to put in that I worked for 8 hours a day (which was more like what I was doing).
It's amazing how much crap you accumulate after living in a house for 12 years. We have a room that we call the office, but the desk has been a catchall since I finished school five years ago. The kids have overtaken the room, and the desk just became their go to place to put stuff. I got the desk cleaned out (and cleaned off) and now it's gone. YIPPEE!!
I also cleaned out both of the kids closets, including washing the walls. My daughter moved out to my parents' house a few months back and it was the first time I really looked in her closet since she left. It was piled about halfway up with stuff. Kids keep the craziest things! My son's closet wasn't so bad, but still it was all a chore.
DH has been on a work related trip for 12 days. He gets home today and I'm SO EXCITED!! I can't wait to see him and I can't wait to see his reaction to the changes in the house. I think my house lost about 1000 lbs. while he was gone! LOL!!
Now he gets to paint the "office". I told him that I would have no part of the painting of the office because I have already done enough the last few weekends. We have to move some more furniture around because the office will become Abby's room (or the guest room if she decides to stay at my parents') once it is painted. Abby's old room has been painted and it will now be Grant's room (that was in the works before she left so I'm not that bad), and Grant's old room will be his "man cave". That's his terminology, not mine. I just can't wait until it is all done.
My body was sore when I finally went to bed last night, I think I definitely earned those extra calories.
