1/7/13- two steps forward and 1 step back

So I'm bumming a little today. I worked out hard on Thursday at the YMCA. I was there from 8 am to 11:30 am. I used the elliptical machine for 30 minutes, then took a aerobics class, then did a water aerobics class. I left there and ate a salad from Burger King (i know that's not the best salad but it is still a salad and not the burger and fries I was craving). Friday I was home for half the day, then I took my mom for a road trip to the outlet stores an hour away. We walked for 4 hours (yes it was shopping but I wasn't sitting on the couch). Then I had another salad at the restaurant we went to and I turned down the achololic beverage Mom offered and drank water instead. I woke up Saturday unable to move ( I threw out my back), and ended up on the couch with the baby for the rest of the weekend. I assumed that the couch time would ruin any weight that I may have lost with my exercise on thurs and friday, but thought I wouldn't gain anything. I stepped on the scale today just for a progress report and found myself +1.2 pounds over last Wed. Hence I am bumming. But bumming doesn't mean I can give up. I will lose this weight and I have 2 more days till my weigh-in counts ( I am only updating every Wed for now). So here I go lots of fruits and veggies, water, water, water, and lean proteins here I come. Tonight is softball spring training for my daughter, I need to grab my glove and try to keep up with her. Wish me luck, cause here I go.

    It could just be water weight :) I read an article that says not to weigh yourself right after exercising because it fluctuates so much.

I'm back!

I am back to spark people. I am back on plan. I am tired of feeling like I have no energy. I am tired of not fitting into any of my clothes. I want to play with my children. So that's it, I am all done being overweight. I will accomplish my goals. It will be hard but I accept this challenge. I will have pitfalls along the way but I will succeed. I will prevail. The only person standing in my way is me. So watch out world here I come!
