Long day.. but still moving!

Monday, April 28, 2008

I was at work at 8 this morning and just got home at little while ago (its 8:54 p.m.). So needless to say, it was a very long day. I missed my posting and workout this morning... but I am getting it in now. First posting then my strength training! No excuses! I am sick of floating between 201 and 207. It is getting really old. Really the only way I am going to say goodbye to the 200's is if I commit to this completely! I am going to do it!

Missing again!

Sunday, April 27, 2008

It's like I just wait for something to come along to throw me off track. I am just looking for an excuse or something and that is so not normally like me. I am normally the person who takes complete responsibility for all of my actions... But I let TOM get in the way again. I really need to stop that. That is a full 4 days lying around and letting it get the best of me! I really need to just bite the bullet and workout through it. I know that its totally up to me. I am the one who decides to eat bad things, I am the one the chooses not to exercise. Bottom line, it's all about choices and I have not been making good ones. I have been making excuses and enough is enough. I know I have said that about 200 times but I do mean it!

So push on! Take one day off but no more excuses. It's hard to lose on your period but if u push on the next week you will see results from all your hard work. At least your stick at 200. Being stuck in the high numbers feels like quick sand. I keep thinking "am i ment to weigh 260 forever?" lol Your will break into the 190's!

206.6.... uh.... i hate TOM

Wednesday, April 23, 2008

And I know, i know... the scale isn't right and I really am about 2 pounds lighter and all that jazz... its just annoying to see.... I am going to work it this week! I think next month I am going to make my goal 'no whites'- I have done it before to kick start my program and it really helps... it means no white flours, breads, sugars, pastas, rices, potatoes, etc. I remember it being a little difficult.. but I saw the scale start to move... and that is what I want!

There are several people that are allergic to these foods and don't know it until they are in the doctors office talking about why it's so hard to lose weight and are fatigued. I know a girl who finally figured it out and stopped eating this junk. As soon as she did that, she dropped weight like there's no tomorrow!! Good luck!

206.4 today, weigh in officially tomorrow

Tuesday, April 22, 2008

Honestly I am surprised to see that I only gained 2 pounds for being gone for a week. I guess I was expecting more then that. I am so sick of getting so close to being under 200 only for me to screw up. I don't know what my deal is. I want so badly for it to happen but I get all the way down to 202 and screw up. This is rediculous. I want to make it happen once and for all! So I doubt I will actually be down by my offical weigh in tomorrow... but next week I definintly will be. I so need to be better with my water! I am sure that is a huge contributor!

    Hello!

If you just keep exercising, you will lose the weight. It takes time. I was where you are, and what I did was put my scale away for a whole month and kept working out. So when I finally looked at the scale, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how much I lost! It didn't matter how much, what mattered was that I LOST WEIGHT!! That made me feel so good. (I'm not advising you to put your scale away, that's just what I did.)

You are still working at it, and that means that you WILL do it!!!

Can you drink half of your water before you go to work? I seem to find that If i dont drink half my water before leave the house for the whole day. Then I wont when i come home. But if u drink 4 cups in the morning and then 4 cups with dinner, it's easier. Plus you wont be in the bathroom all night. You can do it!!! Just think when you get under 200, losing 10 lbs really shows. Think of all the compliments you will get.

Just keep with it my friend and soon it will happen. It didn't take you over night to put on the weight so it's not going to take you over night to dropped off the weight. We just have to keep working towards our goal. I know it was more fun putting on the pounds but hey we can work hard and take it off. it will take lots of hard work but I say let's go for it!!! emoticon

Trying to pull it together

Monday, April 21, 2008

so now I finally get to find out if all that hard work was enough to let me have work/life balance now. I should not have to be into work before 10am on most days which means I have plenty of time to workout in the morning. I really shouldn't have to be there past 7pm anymore either, which means plenty of time to come back to track my food for the day, right? That is the plan. I need to start paying close attention to the amount of water I drink because I am pretty low. Here is to a good day!

I know what you mean that balance of working and exercising is hard. It makes it so that working out on the weekends is a MUST DO task. Planning your meal til dinner before u go to work will really help. That way you don't have to worry about logging it all at night. If I don't start logging with breakfast, I just say screw it to the rest of the day and screw up lol
