I need to slow it down!

Really! Another classic example.. at work at 7am not home until 7pm... crashed again! Luckily I don't have to be to work until 2:30pm tomorrow so I am going to stay up and actually work out tonight. After my full 8 hours of sleep I can wake up and work out in the morning. Maybe that will make the scale move?! I am still at 201. I was watching the biggest loser and Jillian was saying that sleep is a huge contributor to your diet. You simply will not loose weigh if you are not getting enough sleep. I think she is right. I have totally plateaued in the past few weeks and have been working crazy hours the past few weeks. Muffincake is right... if I spent as much time working out as I did at work I would be one buff chick!

    I can relate to the slow down "flag" I have to force myself to bed sometimes because my brain won't stop :) So, sleep is key here!

    That is so true! I think Jillian is right. I read an article recently here on Spark that talks about the importance of sleep in weight loss (and overall health too). Glad you'll have a chance to get some much-needed rest!

P.S. Thank you so much for your sweet support on my blog. I am totally going to check out that video in a little while. Thanks for reading that blog too -- it was a long one!! LOL! I think the longest one I've written yet. I feel a little bit better today, which is good.

    hey chickie! Let's both set a goal this week to be aware of how much we are working at WORK and not on our health! And Biggest Loser is SO right about sleep, its is KEY to weightloss and I need to remember that....so do you =) Sleeping more might be better for you body then getting in some extra excercise.

Crashed today!

I left for work at about 8am and got home at about 7:30pm. Ate a Lean Cuisine and watched American Idol... then woke up... I totally crashed and don't even remember closing my eyes. All the long hours are catchin up with me. I definitly need some sleep. I am skipping my workout tonight because I am afraid if I don't get some sleep tomorrow will be worse!

    Now this is scary. I was at work at 8am and home about 7:30pm...but then I had a SmartOnes and watched some Golden Girls but thats too weird we had like the same day?!?!

We work to hard and its not even work for our own health. If we only worked as hard as we do for our jobs that we did for our health, we would be two buff babes!!!!! I never thought of it like that, ya know?

Scale Peek

I took a little peek at the scale... it was 202... so at least it wasn't too bad. I have until Wednesday for my official weigh in. I decided not to let the taxes get me down. It is what it is... I can't do anything about it. Except pay up, LOL! I can't remember if it is a cardio or strength training day... guess I will have to look it up... That is next! Hope you all have a good day!
