I work until midnight one night per week, usually Thursdays. So that's where this blog is brought to you from... Knowing I was going to be at work all night, I was sure to plan out my day accordingly!
I got the gym done early. My left heel has been hurting a little, so no jogging for me today- did the bike instead... It was a good workout. I felt like I got a good burn today. Next a healthy lunch and then packed and tracked my dinner. It was a delicious salad with blue cheese, slivered almonds and shrimp. A perfect dinner to fill me up and not go over my calories!
So I'm at 11,004 steps right now, though I'm sure I'll end the day with more than that! I'm proud of myself that I'm exceeding my 10,000 step goal daily! It really makes me feel like I've accomplished something.
Weighing in tomorrow morning. I used to be obsessed with the scale and weigh everyday. Seeing the fluctuation daily would give me highs and lows, making me feel bipolar. Seeing as my focus this time around is POSITIVITY, I've decided to only weigh twice a month (once on the first and once mid way through). This has been a hard discipline for me. I'm always so tempted to take a peek. But learning discipline and not giving into temptation is a huge part of this journey and I'm determined to succeed. I've set my goal very reasonably and realistically at only 1 pound per week and if I lose more, great. I'd love to see the scale at 271.6 or lower tomorrow- but if it's not, at least I know I did all I can. Also, I'll remind myself of all I've accomplished in the past 6wks!
