I like the trio of pictures you chose for summer! I just had my anniversary July 10 but no flowers! Can't complain. I did get a nice dinner and a movie and a really sweet card.

Your son is a sweetie!! So handsome!
That's a great looking treadmill! Looks like a keeper! It must be great esp. if the weather won't let you get out to walk! Nice!

Sleep Finally - Korbin's new toddler bed (lightning mcqueen)

Monday, March 07, 2011

Little man got his toddler bed on saturday. Sleep pretty good once he actually fell asleep. He kept making car noises.

Last nite, he fell asleep on the couch at 8:30 and slept until 2 in his bed & was back asleep within 15 minutes. Didnt' get up until after 6:30am. I actually got the best night's sleep.

Here is a couple of pictures.

Aw, love it! Love his bib, hahaha! Hope this helps with sleep issues, sounds like you're off to a good start! I'm so afraid to put Preston in a toddler bed. He'll be 2 1/2 tomorrow! I think he would do great at bedtime, but I am not so sure about naptimes. I need him to take his naps, because that is when I get my school work done. If he doesn't nap, I would have to wait until after 9 at night to do my school work. Ugh!
Sorry, didn't mean to ramble on your blog!
Best of luck, let me know how it continues to go!

Dec 20th

Monday, December 20, 2010

Well all my goodies are done and packaged up for Xmas eve. So glad that's over, still have some left for the house now just to avoid overeating them.

Kate's school had a Xmas concert on Friday. Each grade sang a song, Chorus sang and band played. Kate is in chorus and band (drum) so she was on the stage the entire time. Little man did good, until he decided he wanted to go see kate and the kids on stage. Once I told him no, that was it. I took him in to the small gym and he stood there watching 3 other little kids run around. He wasn't sure what was going on. I think we missed 2 songs. I was even nice and picked her sister up from the highschool to watch. She had her camera and took pictures for me. Since as usual rushing to get out of the house I forgot the camera.

Can't wait for Christmas to get here.

Cookies and goodies time of the year

Wednesday, December 01, 2010

Well, it started on Sunday with me and hubby making 4 batches of rock candy (hard tack). On Monday and Tuesday peanut brittle was made. Tuesday nite: the girls made peanut butter cups (similar to Reese's) and chocolate suckers.

All that remains is:

Peanut Butter Meltaway
Red & Green candies (similar to Nestle Crunch)
Chocolate covered pretzels
Chocolate covered Peanut clusters (milk chocolate and peanut butter chocolate)
Sugar Cookies (iced and decorated)
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Hershey kisses cookies
M&M Cookies
No Bake Oatmeal Cookies
Fudge (Peanut Butter, Butterscotch, Chocolate)

Oh and my mil makes raisin filled cookies, cherry filled cookies (my favorite) & nut rolls (yummy).

So glad I give most of it away as gifts.

Yum!! Love cookies emoticon emoticon emoticon
They are really one of my biggest weaknesses.
We have a project in our town that everyone brings 6 dozen cookies and cans and we package them up for the troops every year.

Your house sounds like mine. We give alot of ours away too. My children and I have such a great time making cookies and candy, I can't not do it because it's not in my calorie range. Sometimes there are things more important, like bonding with my children and grandchildren.

yep Thanksgiving all the way thru the new year same thing I taste everything as I am baking always make extra which is not good for my waistline but they taste so good. I need to package everything up so I don't get into them and overeat. But everybody is trying to lose weight so should I still hand out goodies? I'm debating. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
