WELL I FINALLY CAME UP WITH THE NAME FOR MY GROUP. I REALLY DIDN'T LIKE THE NAME WEIGHT STAREING ME IN THE FACE ALL THE TIME....SO I FIGURE WE LOVE OUR BODY..AND WE LIVE IN IT EVERY DAY. SO LETS CALL IT OUR TEMPLE.....IT IS THE SHELL WE CARRY AROUND AND SHOW OFF. IT IS A FIXER UPPER , I DO HAVE TO SAY SO MYSELF...BUT I'M WORKING ON PUTTING A NEW COAT ON IT........WOW WITH ALL THE THINGS WE ARE LEARNING TO SLIM IT DOWN AND BUILD IT UP TO MAKE IT STRONG AND LEAN. IT SHOULDN'T TAKE US TO LONG, OUR TEMPLE WILL BE ROCKING OUT..IT WILL BE A TEMPLE EVERY BODY ELSE WILL WANT TO BUILD ONE JUST LIKE IT. WE WILL BE SO PROUD AND WE WILL BE SO SHINY AND STRONG....THEY WILL THINK WE ARE A NEW NATION BEING BUILT.......ANYWAY HOPE YOU LIKE THE NEW NAME..
most of the recipes and tips here i find off the internet...some i have try , and i like them.
others are ones i think are interesting,,,,,,
we can help each other share tips, recipes, motivation .PLEASE SHOW EACH OTHER RESPECT.....
big or small we all have a hard time keeping our weight in check...
.please do not try any of the exercises , without getting your dr. approve .them.
we do not want anyone to get hurt.....if you disrespect someone you will be removed.....we are not here to put anyone down.

Weigh in today at 204 pounds



Jan. 5 2008 Saturday

16 oz. water
2 blackened seasoned salmon fillet
Summer veg.
2 Dt. 7 up
Snack on a few m&ms. About 7 of them
18 chocolate whoppers
Ramen noodles ( use no seasoning mix…..I mix in some summer veg.
6 tbsp. bites full of strawberry frozen yogurt……..I’m the only one who will eat it, so I have figure out if I just take a table spoon and eat about 6 of them then I don’t eat as much, as if I would if I put it in a bowl. So this helps out a lot.
16 oz. water





Did work around the house today….took down Christmas lights outside. Hung up new curtains, 20 sink push ups

Started the new year at 206.…I have lost 2 pounds so far…..which is pretty good I think since I still have my sweets. I have a bad sweet tooth. But I’m trying to learn how to cut my sweets down , so I can still have them without going over my limit…..

good snack recipe from weight watchers..if you are on the point system.

Applesauce Gelatin Squares

1 Point per serving



4 Pkgs. (3 oz. each) sugar-free raspberry gelatin (or flavor of your choice)

4 C. Boiling water

1 1/2 C. Cold water

1 Jar (46 oz.) unsweetened applesauce



In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water and applesauce. Pour into a 13"x9" dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. Refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Cut into squares.

Makes 16 servings
