I'm starting FRESH.... It is a BRAND new day. I'm attacking my diet plan all over again. Today (so far) is a GREAT day. Ate a GREAT breakfast, have gotten in 15 minutes on the Gazelle (don't hurt too bad) Have stayed busy and am starting SPARK all over again. (have started out by putting my breakfast into the menu -will get to lunch in a bit :-)

Wish me luck! I'm probably gonna need a little of that, and a whole lot of determination :-)

What a beautiful Autumn Day!

I had a morning visit from my grandson Gunther and his Mama Lena (my beautiful daughter )!! They came with gifts of veggies that they had picked at Miller Farms near Platteville this Sunday! So I promptly put some of the cabbage and potatoes in with a corn beef and that has been making the house smell great!! They both helped me finish decorating for Holloween :-) The house looks pleasantly spookie! We had a brief but GREAT visit.

Then I remembered to weigh in! Found out even late in the afternoon I've still lost a little over a pound. That is an other wonderful thing! Especially when I'm not really taking the time to track lately. Nor have I been able to really do much exercise, because of my back and knee. So I'm pleased with the surprise loss.

My goal is to try to walk at least 15 - 20 minutes on my gazelle every other day and see it it bothers my joints too much. I'll start tomorrow morning :-)

I'm sitting here in the late afternoon sun, it truely is a beautiful day!

Well I'm pleasantly surprised this morning! I have been so busy with floor installers and siding people for the past week and a half that I haven't been tracking anything.. barely getting on SP at all. BUT.... I got on the scale today (I missed last weeks weigh in) and I have gone down another 3 pounds Plus in two weeks!!

Part of that could be from less appetite because of back pain (!!!) but will take what I can get :-) I have eaten well, (properly) and have even allowed myself evening snacks of popcorn... so I'm encouraged that in stressful situations I can continue to loose weight. I have now lost a total of 13 pounds.... only 57 more to go. :-) As the scale numbers come down I get more excited to get to my goal. (to be at a healthy weight for my knees and back... so I can have LESS pain!)

I have had to resort to going to the chiropractor again after not doing so for over 3 years!! I'm not sure if it is my weight or my extra activity.. but I have been in excruciating pain for about a week and a half now. Hopefully I'll get some relief soon! There is nothing PRESSING I have to do today so, am going to just take it easy :-) Although those kitchen cabinets are SCREAMING that they need to be refinished .... and the dogs need trimmed and bathed... and those throw rugs need steam cleaned...... NOT TODAY. :-)

I hope to continue my good weight loss again this week. This is the fun part of my life!

    I go to the chiropractor every 8-10 weeks whether I need it or not. Tune Up time. I find if I don't do that then I can get way out of wack. Congrats on your weight loss.
I ate way too much tonight and am now feeling the pressure of Yuck!!! It will make me think about it next time.

    Sorry your having such a time with your back! Losing weight will help with the pain, so congrats an woo hoo ! Do yourself a favor though an use today for "you time" relax an pamper yourself. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Well, I'm excited that I didn't GAIN. :-) I HAVE noticed I weigh in the mornings on Tuesday (my weigh in day) and if by CHANCE I get on later in the day I weigh LESS.... but like I said.... at LEAST I didn't GAIN! lol

    Those ounces add up. I do understand feeling disappointed though (at least I always do), but a loss is a loss is a loss. And for me anyway, I know it's very easy to gain so every little loss does count.

Week Four!

Well, It was a busy week end with a huge bar-b-que on Sunday (DH's birthday) and I still managed to loose 3 1/2 pounds!!! It really doesn't make much sense does it? Two weeks and nothing (even looked like I was GAINING at one point) then to loose 3 1/2 pounds in a week that I didn't get as much exercise and probably ate less healthy!! NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING!! I'm very excited.

I will work harder on my exercise routine adding in walking the pups a little this week and see how that affects my knee. Wish me luck!!

    I too have worked so hard only to lose 1/2 lb or nothing but the next week would be 3-4 lbs. It taught me not to be discouraged but to keep it up because it all averages out. And as an afterthought; sometimes we don't eat enough and our bodies won't let us shed it because they are storing up for next week. emoticon
