MY MIRACULOUS FALL IN THE SHOWER

This morning I fell in the shower and couldn't get up. It was slick I think from something the housecleaners use on the floor as this has almost happened before when they have been here. PTL nothing broke except my pride. Here I am just like God made me only bigger but I did have towels close by I could reach so the front was covered. I had to call 911. I have the phone by me when I take a shower. The fire trucks, medcare, police everyone came and they had to break my door to get in but another PTL someone came today, Saturday, to fix the door. It will cost $180.00 but they are repairing some other damage also and another PTL a check came in from somone who just sends once or twice a year (usually just at Christmas) which more than covered it. I had the money before they even got back with the parts to fix it.
This morning I had an appointment at 10:30 to get my hair done and of course couldn't go as I could not leave the house open. I called her and she said she did have an opening at 3:00, the guys say they will be finished before that so I may still get my hair done.
I had a party this afternoon I didn't really want to go to so called my friend and told her I would not be going.
So hope I am not real sore in the morning when I get up to go to church. Hope I don't have black and blue marks where they show. Maybe I won't even have any. Things are going well.
God is good and is a miracle working God.
So believe God for miracles in your life. There is nothing He cannot do.

THE MIRACLE OF BABY SAMUEL

Ok here it is. I promised you I would write a blog when Baby Samuel got home. Mom was dismissed at 12:00 noon and baby the same day at 6:00.
This is a miracle baby. First of all she came to me and asked for prayer saying they wanted a baby and hadn't been able to have one. I prayed for her and I know others did also. The next I hear she is pregnant.
Well, the doctor's checked the baby in the mothers womb and said it had a heart defect and it was possible it would have to be flown to Corpus Christi to a childrens hospital for emergency surgery.
The baby was born and they didn't find any defect. They kept Samuel in nicu under observation. He was 18 inches long and over 7 pounds in weight. His mother is a tiny little thing. The baby is beautiful.
The doctor's showed and gave them copies of the x-rays before and after the birth and they are amazed that there is nothing at all wrong with his heart.
We know who did the miracle "GOD". He is a miracle working God.
The baby was born earlier than what they thought. She worked the day she went to the hospital. I asked her one day if she was going to work up to the last day of her pregnancy and she said I feel fine and probably will. LOL
So this is the blog I promised.
Thank all of you who prayed for Samuel. Samuel in the Bible was given to a barren woman who begged him and waited and waited. She promised him to God and he belonged to God and God used him mightily.
That is a good name for this

MY NEWEST SPIRITUAL GRANDCHILD, PLEASE PRAY

At midnight I was sleeping soundly like a good girl and as many of you had told me to do when I hear this terrible noise in the house. I couldn't figure out what it was. Then it ed. All of a sudden I realized it was my phone and jumped up. My spiritual grandchild.
Sure enough the grandfather called to let me know they had just taken the mother to the hospital. They thought the baby would be born May the 1st but had miscalculated.
I stayed up awhile on Spark then went back to bed.
At 8:00 a.m. the phone rang again. The baby had just been born.
THE BABY IS IN ICCU AS THEY ARE MONITORING ITS HEART AS THERE MIGHT BE A DEFECT.
PLEASE
This child is a miracle child. The mother asked me to pray for her one day as she wanted to have a child and couldn't. The next thing I knew she was pregnant.
They named the child Samuel as they had asked him from God and dedicated him to God even before he was born.
I don't know why I ate so bad for me today, maybe all the excitement. I did have my veggies and fruit but also had two fried drumsticks. Not good.
It will be difficult to get the weight off eating like that.

SHORT TRIP THIS MORNING

This is me and the pastors where I am building. The building looks a lot better than this now as the parsonage is almost done. We have a few more things to do which will take a few hundred dollars more but it is going to be nice for that part of Mexico.
This morning I met the pastor's wives sisters on this side of the bridge separating Mexico and the US.
I didn't realize they have papers to come over but they do so it worked out just fine.
There is continued violence there, one day it said eight more gunned down and the day before had a long list of killings. The girls said it is more calm right now but at night is when it is worse.
I am glad I did get the money for the building to them.

ANOTHER UPDATE ON MEXICO

I was absolutely shocked when I read the paper today. In Reynosa right across from me and where I have the church and parsonage they had shut off some of the streets and advised people to stay off of them.
In Matamoros two jailers were arrested for helping people escape from the prison. This is only about 70 or 80 miles from me.
In Zapata two helicopters were sighted from Mexico at different times.
Down in Mexico City which is far from me they are having uprisings.
A border patrol man was stoned as he tried to stop drug trafficers and of course he was on the US side of the border.
And all of this in one days paper.
We need to pray for Mexico and the US as well as many parts of the world.
I don't know when I will be able to get back into Mexico.
