trying it again !!!

ok so i am going to try again ! this time i am not doing it alone !! whooo hooo ! have my hubby going on the same plain as me so i can have more of a reason to get the extra pounds off and hoping to keep it off.
so today is jan. 5th 2009 and i am 5'4' tall and clocking in at 220.5 lb !!! that is just to much for me i have not seen that weigh ever on me and i am sick of how i feel and look.
i think the sad part of all this is i don't know how i got to be this big and hate myself so much when i look in pictures !!!

I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS ABOUT TRYING TO EAT BETTER THAT IS SO HARD !!!!! I THINK I AM DOING GOOD AND THEN THE NEXT THING YOU KNOW I AM EATING BAD AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!
THERE ARE DAYS THAT I THINK I FEEL AND LOOK GOOD AND THEN THERE ARE DAYS I CANT STAND MYSELF !!!!!
I GET NICE THINGS IN THE STORE TO DRESS IN AND WHEN I LOOK AT THE SIZE I AM GETTING I WANT TO RUN OUT OF THE STORE AND JUST DIE !!!!!!!
AND THEN WHEN SOMETHING I THINKS FITS NICE ! AND I LOOK IN THE MERRIER !! I HATE ME EVEN MORE !!!!!
I WAS THINKING ABOUT GETTING A DIET PILL TO GIVE ME A JUMP !!
BUT WE WILL HAVE TO SEE !!!
WELL ITS JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE RUN !!!!!

  Eating better is hard to do. I allow myself one day a week to pig out...if I find it is necessary. Every morning I look in the mirror, smile and say "I love you just as you are". Someone has to tell me, so I tell myself. I would not take a diet pill. Mostly because I take so much medication that it most surely would upset my blood test. But they are a crutch. I don't know you, if you were close to me I'd hug you and tell you "You are NOT bad! You are a good person with the energy and strength to conquer."

where do you start !!!!

i was looking around today on what is the best foods to start my new life style with and ORG !!! where do you start ???? i was looking on the nutrition facts on the back of packages and where is it better to look at ??? ok is staying with low calories a good one or staying with low total fat a better one, or is it go with low trans fat ???? and the best on is they are all different on each box !!!
i was so lost and i think that is going to be a big problem with me !! i am trying to lose the weight as fast as i can !!!
so anyone knows the best was to go please fill me in !!! because as each day gos buy i am feeling the big girl winning and i dont want that !!!!

    I am currently working on a degree in nutrition...and I can tell you....Calories are more important than fat. 1 pound of fat on your body is 3500 calories of food.

The second most important thing is calories from fat. You want to avoid food that has half of the total calories from fat. If you read the back of the label...it might say for example...

Calories 150
Calories from fat 75
Fat 8 grams

The calories from fat are 50% of the total calories...this is not good. Most food has calories from fat that equal about a third of the total calories...this is good.

I recommend keeping track of the total number of calories you eat in a day. Make sure you stay with in the range that spark people set for you under your nutrition tab.

Its all about calories, though! You have to burn more calories than you eat to loose weight. Its simple math. Most diets and people make it more complicated than it needs to be.

i know we all have pasted this kind of page before !! this will be day one of my new start in living a healthier life style. i do have to say i am afraid that i will fale and not do the right thing !!
i will do my best to stay on track and not let the food get the best of me and i will now that the weather is getting nicer out !! go out and move and not be so involved with the food and tv and couch !!!
i have a sit down job and i know that its hard to do anything about that but i will try to go out on my time off and move
so wish myself good luck and see how it goes !!!
