Last night, after work I decided to go to the local Y, where I have a family mmbership which we have hardly used. My plan was to take the aqua fit class, but didn't get out of work on time, so, my mom, daughter, and her friend did the family swim time instead! I have to say, we all really enjoyed it. I swam laps until i was too tired, took a break, and started again. I also did some water aerobics Ihad learned from a previous class. It felt great! I can feel it today, but it's good! I think it was a good first step to getting back into the gym. It helps to know that I can exercise and spend time with my daughter at the same time, and not have to worry about finding a babysitter (which I hardly ever do)! I am hoping to be able to make it in to the Y at least once or twice per week. maybe sign my daughter up for lessons, and I can try the workout area. Maybe using the indoor track occasionally too!
