Compliments from THE person who matters most

Sunday, February 13, 2011

When I started on the SP last September, my DH didn't say much. After all I had already been on so many programs over the years and ended up gaining the weight back (and then some).

The last few weeks he has commented on how "baggy" my jeans have become and the way that I have stuck with it.

Last night he said how very proud he was of me for what I have accomplished and he knew it was not easy! I have not reached my goal yet, but am headed that way.

My goal when starting SP was to lose weight, inches and feel better, but I had never told him my MAIN reason for doing this was to get myself in better physical condition so I could take better care of him. (his health is not good)

DH goes into the hospital this coming Thursday (17th), will have the procedure done on his heart Friday morning and come home Saturday morning. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Thought For Today......."UP UNTIL NOW"

Friday, February 11, 2011

Every time you hear yourself making some blanket statement like, "I'm very insecure…I need a lot of attention and reassurance," I'd suggest that you add these three words, "up until now." Every time you do that, you're making a break with the past. You're giving yourself permission to change.
