The past, the present and the future

Thursday, January 20, 2011

It doesn't matter where you've been, it only matters where you are going.
Brian Tracy

The majority of us in SP have probably lost weight in the past (and gained it back) and now we are in SP to change the present with our weight and fitness tracking. We will continue to look forward to the future with renewed motivation to obtain our goals and when they are reached to keep them!!

Keep Sparking on!!

Amen! So true, so true! I think there is some value in evaluating the past and how we got here. But more importantly, we should just start where we are and get movin' on in the right direction! Hope you're having a great weekend! Spark on! emoticon

2 pounds.....BE GONE!!

Monday, January 17, 2011

Is 2 lbs. all I want to lose? No, not by a long-shot. However, right now I want 2 pounds on the scale to disappear. I want to be able to be 175 instead of 177 and have the 20 Pounds Lost Award on my Spark Page. After that I can concentrate on the next 5 and the next 5, etc.

I am in the 3rd week of the 28 Day Bootcamp Challenge. Today I spent 40 minutes on the treadmill today (have been doing only 30) and also did the 10 minute Bootcamp Cardio. Tomorrow I will add back the Butt-Busting Video and Dumbbell Exercise for obliques. I track all my food and stay in the 1100-1300 caloric range.

I WILL lose these stubborn 2 pounds soon!

When life leaves you hanging, DON'T QUIT

Saturday, January 15, 2011

Anything can happen.
Bend, don't break.
Challenge your potential.
Destiny is a choice.
Effort creates opportunities.
Follow your intuition.
Get back up and try again.
Hold on to your vision.
Impress yourself.
Just dig a little deeper.
Keep knocking on doors.
Learn from mistakes.
Motivate with compassion.
Nothing worthwhile comes easy.
Own a positive attitude.
Problems hold messages.
Question what is not working.
Regroup when you need to.
Stand up for your principles.
Think outside the box.
Unite perseverance with resolves.
Value knowing when to walk away.
Work smarter, not just harder.
Xhaust all possibilities.
You can, if you think you can.
Zzzz's, take naps as needed.

Happiness for me today is being able to put on a 2 piece fleece outfit that was way in the back of my closet for the last couple of years because it was too small for me!! (or I was too big for it! emoticon) Glad I didn't give it away as it is unusually cold here today (19 degrees when I got up). SP food tracking and 28 Day Bootcamp Challenge is working. Yesterday I started the Butt Busting Exercises and believe me the title is correct.

Hope everyone has a great day!

What a thrill!

On the first day of school, the children brought gifts for their teacher.
The florist's son brought the teacher a bouquet of flowers.
The candy-store owner's daughter gave the teacher a pretty box of candy.
Then the liquor-store owner's son brought up a big, heavy box. The teacher lifted it up and noticed that it was leaking a little bit.. She touched a drop of the liquid with her finger and tasted it. "Is it wine?" she guessed. "No," the boy replied. She tasted another drop and asked, " Champagne ?. "No," said the little boy.............."It's a puppy!"
