This is all 4 of them playing on a rug at the bottom of the steps of my house. They are so cute to watch.

Just a cautionary note: I noticed you said they were still a little wild. Please forgive me if I'm speaking out of turn, but in order to find homes for them they need to be socialized, and it takes patience.

As a child, I tamed two feral cats on our farm, by sitting where they were, bringing food and giving their natural curiosity a chance to bring them closer. Still, I was the only one they allowed near them. The kitty litter one of them had, though was a different matter. The kittens loved everyone and would come running to me. They would have made good pets, had not some critter killed them all... a sad event I still vividly remember after all these years.

When our children were little, we allowed both our dog and our cat to have babies. It was a marvelous time. The cats were born during polyester suit era and our four kittens made my husband's suit pant a little fuzzy by treating him like a tree. Nothing sharper than a little kitty's nails. I've grown to see all things young as miraculous. They are beautiful things. Enjoy!

And post more pictures!!!

Thanks for the pictures. I miss having a cat. ( I had my Daisy for 14 years and she just died peacefully from old age - a blessing.)

Need help uploading kitties pictures.......

Sunday, May 20, 2012

I have several more pictures to upload, but it will only do one at a time. I am running Windows 7, have the pictures in "pictures" & use IE. I thought it might be possible to upload all of them at one time, but that did not work either.

Anyone have any suggestions?

You can only upload one picture at a time... I have my pictures in My Documents - the file is Kitty Pictures. I go there, open the file and upload the picture I want. Good luck...

Tell yourself:

Everything will work out.
Things will get better.
You are important.
You are worthy of great things.
You are loveable.
The time is now.
This too, shall pass.
You can be who you really are.
The best is yet to come.
You are strong.
You can do this.

Brag about Mother's Day!

Tuesday, May 15, 2012

The following was written & put on Facebook by one of my grandsons. He is a fine young man who is currently in school to become a fireman. He has been a volunteer for several years in our small town.

Today I say Thanks, to all Mothers out there! Thanks for being there through the hard times, thanks for being the shoulder to lean on when I couldn't stand, thanks for the lessons you've taught me, thanks for pushing me when I thought I was done or couldn't go anymore, and most of all thanks for being such a great mentor to make me the man I am today. All of you mothers that know me personally have had some sort of impact on the way I am and I thank you for that. But the bravest, most courageous and loving women I know are Bridgette XXXXXXXXX (his mother), Betty XXXXXX (maternal grandmother), and Deanna XXXXX (I am his paternal grandmother). Thank yall for everything. A caring and loving Mother is an Angel in human form. Happy Mothers Day!

This meant more to me than any store bought card he could have gotten & I just had to brag a little. Thanks for listening.

What an amazing young man, to understand this and give you and the other mothers in his life the credit that you deserve! Remember that YOU had a huge hand in making him the person he is now (I am sure)! emoticon

Oh, yes! I meant to tell you that I LOVE your background picture! Kincaid is one of my favorites!
