Hope to maintain this week

Lost another 1/2 lb. last week. With all the cooking, tasting, etc. this week I just hope to maintain my current weight this week. When Thursday comes I plan to "taste" small amounts in my plate unlike previous years when I filled my plate to overflowing and ate it all. (Remember I am one of the original "clean your plate club members...as there are starving children in China"). Will step up my exercise when possible. Today I am cleaning my 2-story house (dragging sweeper up and down steps while vacuuming must count for something) emoticon

WHAT I WANT

I want to go shopping and not head for the Plus size department.

I want to try on clothes that actually look better on me than on the rack.

I want to be able to tuck in my blouse if I want and look nice.

I want to get on the scales and have a smile on my face.

I want to go up 2 flights (or more) of stairs without being winded.

I want to wear a belted dress and look good in it.

I want to meet an old friend who comments on how good I look.

I know it will take time and effort, but I WILL get all these things.

Lost 5 pounds.

WooHoo. I lost 5 pounds and am starting my 3rd week. Measuring portions and found I eat about the right portions, but eating between meals has hurt me over the years, especially "junk food". Since I am a charter member of the "Clean your plate club" and a yoyo dieter from waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back, this is a change for me. Love the site and am looking for a buddy.
