Tuesday

Went for a nice walk on the beach after I saw a client and DD was at the preschool. The called it a day as it was late when I got home and pouring with rain, and I felt tired, I do feel much better today thank goodness though. I was down 2 lbs today, from yesterday. I don't think soy agrees with me because just have not been eating much sodium and not retaining much water at all until I ate soy and it was loaded with sodium.

Monday

I was surprised and shocked to find myself up 3 lbs today since Friday! Aunt Flo did arrive Saturday but normally am back to normal by now and this is very odd, as did not go crazy over the weekend or anything, or thought I ate much sodium. I am right at the top of my range and have never been this high even after eating a LOT more!! So will see what happens today. Worse thing is I did not even enjoy my food over the weekend for some reason. I am trying to stop dairy and its been hard, and the only culprit for sodium may be the soy cheese. I am also conflicted about soy right now too as have been staying away from it up to now. But the other cheese substitutions suck too. So will decide what to do this week!

    I fluctuate as much as 5 pounds so don't worry too much. I also believe it's important to enjoy eating and the act of nourishing yourself. I hope you aren't being too strict with yourself but I'm sure you know best how to take care for yourself right now.

    Wow -- good luck on your dairy-free venture! I am not a huge dairy person, but I think I would have a hard time without some things. Bummer about the scale -- weight fluctuations are so frustrating especially when you throw Aunt Flo in the mix! Hang in there girl!!!

Sunday

50 weeks on SP today, in 2 weeks its a year. I am getting behind with my Blogs, and not much energy with Aunt Flo arriving yesterday. In one day I was up 2 lbs, and I am sure its water retention. Weird as I never gain that much, and did not eat much the previous day, and had salad for dinner, and ate low sodium. I am going to stop eating dairy and tried some soy vegan cheese it was the worst I have tried, DD thought it was funny because it tasted like Play Doh, and thats putting it nicely. I bet it was loaded with sodium though as nothing else was. Ugh! Just having too many health issues lately and it sucks as I do everything right (and have done for a long time) and DH eats junk, drinks coke and is as healthy as a horse. Anyhow no energy or enthusiasm today and got to get motivated!

    Oh yeah! I totally forgot about Old Aunt Flo! Another 'contributor' to my recent weight GAIN! AAUGH!!!

Hm ... your DH eating JUNK and is HEALTHY?!?! Chances are he's NOT as 'healthy' as he seems ...

Maybe YOU should have an 'enjoyment' day!!! Sounds good to ME! LOL

    Don't worry, the new moon is tomorrow and you've just got the pre-new moon blues. And I know what you mean about doing everything right and still not feeling as healthy as you think you should. But I know you'll get motivated and continue being an inspiration to me!

Saturday

Well did my exercise in the morning and felt ok, then realized I felt really terrible and took the rest of the day off, with Aunt Flo, cold, sinus infection and some other health concerns I realized I needed a break so took a rest afternoon, feel a bit better this morning thank goodness.

Friday

Busy day again with work, errands, grocery shopping and exercise! DD went to the park for a while and played with 2 little girls, and amazingly talked to someone at the park who used to be DD's preschool teacher, normally people are not too friendly here so made a change. Cold somewhat better and pounding headache and sinus infection subsided a little. Colds are not what they used to be!
