Friday

Well it poured with rain and was cold so did not go for a long walk and got soaked just going to the mail box. But did a lot of exercise on the rebounder and did a lot of steps. So hoping for Spring! This was a beautiful narcissus at the zoo yesterday. I am really enjoying my new camera. Need to remember to Blog every day!

Thursday

Went to Seattle and the zoo and errands, and stuff, I felt I walked all day but not as many steps as I wanted! Still had a fun day! Raided Trader Joe's and had lunch at WholeFoods, and not much dinner as was quite full! It was a beautiful day though and really Spring Like at the zoo.

Wednesday

Lots of cleaning poop today! Cleaned out the cat litter boxes, dog kennel, parrot cage (spring cleaned) and the shed we have, not as many steps as cleaning, and did not do my walk as the bike trailer still has a flat tire and cannot find the repair kit. I am hoping DH will fix it. DD is super whiny right now too. Hopefully we will do something fun tomorrow!

Moment of Truth

Well I weighed myself (and still that time of the month) its been six weeks since I weighed so was very nervous, and worried I was up 10 lbs at least. Ta da! I am still within my maintenance range at 138.3 I was 135.5 when I left and the top of my range (and my original goal) is 140 so thats great! I actually feel a little better at 138 than 135 because certain parts of my anatomy are not quite so droopy!!!! Anyhow I definitely think 135-140 is the best range for me I don't want to be higher but lower I started to look a little too thin, since I am quite muscular and not petite in build. Anyhow am very happy and proud I maintained so well for 6 weeks despite all the temptations and eating out, I definitely did not go without but DID make healthy choices with occasional treats, and the key I think has been and will continue to be lots of exercise and on-going strength training.

    WAY TO GO!!!! That is awesome, Anna and I think that is the trick -- keeping the healthy choices at the forefront, but still allowing the occasional "cheat". You rock, girl!! Keep it up!!

    congrats!!! its really good to read how someone who has been around for a lot longer than i have continues to maintain... i realise its an ongoing journey... i have also found that if i want to step things up the key to it is the cardio/strength training... great job! jen

Monday

Catching up with work, laundry, cleaning and exercise, not to mention my eating plan. Had a smoothie for breakfast and salad for dinner hopefully. I have not weighed yet, waiting for that time of the month to be over, then going to weigh once a week to keep on track. I feel fine and my weight seems good, am still really quite fit too. Strength today too.

    Mmmm, smoothie for bf, 1 of my all time faves. I almost had 1 myself this A.M., but decided on oatmeal. It's a cold, rainy, dreary day & it just sounded soothing. Hit the spot. Good for U resisting the scale, It's easy to get sucked in2 it's numbers. Hope it's cooperative with U! LOL! Hugs, Ruth
