Seattle Construction Site
Well weighed in about the SAME! Scale was a little flakey (surprise surprise) but settled at 135.7 yay. I need to do some exercise today though it has stopped POURING but I am feeling cold. Strength should warm me up though. I am craving dates for some reason, well before the Holidays. They are not low in calories I am going to look up the benefits though! I got a Xmas Cake from WholeFoods and homemade Xmas pudding for Xmas Day too. The lady who makes them is from UK and they are delicious. So I am having a couple of low calorie days here in preparation! But I am usually fine now with one slice of cake as my snack every day. I am looking forward to Xmas now just have to wrap everything up and will be good to go. Oh yes and cook dinner on Xmas Day! I am really looking forward to the Hotel and short break!!
Well dates are very good for me, and my anemia. So I will continue to eat them and not feel bad about it, they have so many nutrients too! They used to use them to treat dizziness and I was feeling dizzy and now I am not, I am sure due to anemia. Very interesting!
Dates were one of the first fruits to be cultivated by man, they were a popular fruit in ancient Roman and Greek times and remains of the date palm have even been found in Stone Age man excavation sites. The date is the fruit of the date palms which grow in sub-tropical and desert areas throughout North Africa, the Middle East, Australia and California. Dates can be eaten raw, cook or dried.
Dates are packed with nutrients and are a good source of dietary fibre which can help constipation and aid good bowel health. The high iron content within dates makes them an excellent food to eat if you are suffering from anaemia or if you have heart problems.
