Day 92

13 weeks today! I was 152.4 today thats about 35 lbs down. Definitely an achievment and the calorie cycling is working so far. No sign of Aunt Flo yet, but still grumpy and since its so cold and rainy here have to get motivated to exercise! Hope it stops raining so I can go for my walk, it did yesterday - briefly! We cleaned out our bunk-house, and are getting it ready for winter. We are building a log-cabin, and in temporary accomodation on our property right now so are trying to make things more comfortable. So I moved a lot of boxes and things. Got to do some more cleaning today. Need to get off my butt and get moving though!

    Wow! What I would give for even five minutes of rain here! The yard is dead, the plants are dying, the rose bushes are struggling...I cant keep enough water outside for the animals...gosh it is still two months away from any possible rain for us. And it doesnt look good again this year either. You are doing such a great job with your wieght loss. I am jealous but not unhappy! I love reading about others being successful, it keeps me motivated! Take care, and send some drops our way! Pris

Day 91

Day 91 today, I hope by the next 3 months I am at my goal! Today I was down from 153.7 to 153.1 despite my high (or apparently not so high) calorie day! I am definitely retaining a little water but had low sodium yesterday (under 1000) so I am sure thats helping keep it under control. Today is cold and rainy and after a beautiful September Fall is here with a vengeance. I hope it is not too bad to go for a walk later. Its still raining! I don't mind walking in the rain, but I don't want DD to get too cold and wet in her trailer as she is getting over a nasty cough. I might just take the dogs and leave her with DH if it does not stop later. She is getting very good on the rebounder, and elliptical. Its so funny as she is so small and can get that thing moving. Not of course that she ever pedals her tricycle!!

    Well I am not at my goal yet! I still have 12.4 lbs to go to 140. I was originally thinking 150 but am going to go to 140 especially since the Calorie Cycling is really helping and am eating more!

Day 90

Wow 90 days! The scales were definitely at 153.7 today, and wavering down not up, so am still losing. Today is a high calorie day, 1500, and did an extra 30 mins cycling to start the day, then 30 mins HIIT on the Elliptical, plus strength too! I will go for a walk after dinner with DH and DD which will be nice. Hope the scales move after THIS day!

Oh yes did I mention the garage sale. This lady tried to sell me her old jeans she said she had grown out of since she got sick. I thought they would be small and she had gained. But no they were size 14 and she had lost and was still bigger than I am. Geez! I am so polite I just said thank you, I did not want to say I had never worn size 14 jeans even before I lost nearly 35 lbs. It would be nice if I met people who say wow you HAVE lost weight!

LOL I never win anything and today I won a bumper sticker. I picked the one that says Have you sparked today? How funny! My car will wear it with pride!

    Yikes! I did check it out and really not sure I COULD eat that much lol! I really am enjoying eating 1300 and 1500 calories and have a hard time finding stuff to eat on the high end days lol. I am trying to prepare for maintenance mode so if I keep losing on my calorie cycling plan will definitely gradually increase.

    YOU NEED TO CHANGE THAT! Go to freedieting.com and theres a calculator in there for CALORIE CYCLING. It will give you such high numbers you wont think you can eat that much! GO NOW! QUICKLY! ;-)

    Wow! The most I can ever get Spark to say is 1200 - 1550 for my range and I was eating at 1200 every day until last week! Now I started calorie cycling I am hungier and eating more, go figure!! I have my weight set to lose 2 lbs a week and my goal is Oct 31 st! Halloween! I wonder why my range is so low! That kind of sucks lol!

    And my high calorie days are 1720! I have had very few days since I joined (and even before; I've been a calorie counter on and off for 9 years!) under 1500. You a re doing great Anna! I haven't gotten any exercise in yet today but in a few minutes I'm heading out for a walk, too.

    HIGH CALORIE!?!?! My high is 1889! My low is 1400.
CONGRATS ON THAT SCALE!
I tried that 'rebounder' last night and my hips are KILLING me today! Well, not STILL, as first thing this morning I was pushing tons of water in the store today. That was a workout in itself!

Day 89

These shoes were made for walking...

So I think I will reward myself with some new running/walking shoes when I get to 150, looks like I will need them before it starts raining here!!

Still grumpy and PMS-ing and squeezed down to 153.7 today. Scales were whacky though and never really trust the weight I get then. But am definitely about 154.0 which is a lot more than I expected this fast thats for sure. I am hungrier though and I am sure its those pesky hormones!!

Good news on the jeans front. My size 3 Levi 512 Jeans I had tried to sell in numerous garage sales because I never dreamed I would ever fit into them again look like it might happen some day soon! Initially I know I could not even fit a leg in them, then last time I fitted both legs in but could not get them over my hips. This time I managed to get them over my hips and ON, but I cannot close the zipper or button, if I lose about 3 inches on my waist I could. Right now its 27 inches. I started off at 38 inches though! I think these jeans are my ultimate goal!!

This is how the conversation went with my 3.75 yo DD:

DD - Why are you putting THOSE jeans on?
ME - Oh I am just trying them on!
DD - Why are you lying down and putting them on, are you resting?
ME - Umm no I am just seeing if they will fit yet?
DD- But why are you lying down, are you tired?
ME - I am just trying my jeans on!
DD - They don't fit?
ME - Not yet!
DD - Maybe they will fit when you are not so fat!

I HAD to buy myself new 'walking' shoes - I went from an 8-1/2 to a SEVEN. I was starting to get blisters on the ball of my feet from them being too big!
CONGRATS on the Size Threes! SOON ... VERY soon! I don't think I'll EVER be that small, at 13 y.o. I was in a 7, and I was never heavy before I had kids.

    I know that frustration! A few years ago we bought a 70 dollar scale from target that measured body fat and all that...it was really quirky and then got to the point where I had to kick it to get it to turn on and work. So we then went to walmart and bought a digital scale (nothing fancy) for about 15 dollars and it works great and doesn't change every time I step on it (back to back).

    I do have a (supposedly) good digital that weighs muscle, water and body fat. It is very quirky though. I weighed myself with my PJ's on and without and gives me the same weight then I weighed myself with a 5 lb weight and 2 x 5 lb weights and gives me a different amounts. Its weird! I know I am losing though and just try to weigh until I get a consistent weight, it also said lower a couple of times but did not use those. I just have not found an ideal scale!

    So funny! Don't forget to take a picture of your new walking shoes when you get them! Colored shoes are very fashionable right now...so treat yourself to some funky ones. :o) What kind of scale do you have? I have a digital one that is very accurate...much better than the other kind that bounces around when I step on it (what are those called? I forget!). You are doing so great. I feel for you with the PMSing....I just went through that and am now breathing a BIG sigh of relief that it is over, LOL.

Day 88

Well I just squeezed down to 154.0 today, thats exactly 11 stone! My spurt has slowed, but I hope my rest day will kick things in today when I exercise again, if I can get up from the PC lol. I know I am approaching that time, so am not expecting any big changes until after that. Still only 4 lbs to go to my October 1st goal of 150 and getting into the 140's. I hope I can do it, it really depends on when my hormones kick in but will just keep on doing what I am doing in the meantime.

Review of my mini-goals:

1. Get below 170 into the 160's again!! DONE!

2. Get to 168 - thats exactly 12 stone. DONE!

3. Get to 163.5 - thats exactly half way on my weight loss. DONE!

5. Get below 160 into the 150's again!! DONE!

6. Get to 157 - thats exactly 30 lbs lost. DONE!

7. Get to 154 - thats exactly 11 stone. DONE!

8. Get to 151.7 - thats 3/4th lost 1/4th to go! NEXT GOAL!

9. Get below 150 into the 140's again!!

10. Get to 140 - my final goal!

CELEBRATE!! AND MAINTAIN

LOL I have this feeling if and when I make it to 140 I will go to 137 so I can say I lost a nice round FIFTY POUNDS! And ROUND was NOT a pun! Yikes!!

Yikes I seem to have come to a sreeching halt! I did my 30 mins Elliptical and some cleaning and was going to vaccum my car and go for a walk, and I have ZERO energy and almost fell asleep except I had to stop myself because DD would wreck the place and herself if I did. It would be nice if she took a nap and I could too! I think it must be PMS which is due Saturday, though its usually late if anything as I am SUPER-GRUMPY! Also I want to eat everything in sight and feel hungry, which I normally really don't on what I am eating. I even added a mini (very mini 108 calories) in for lunch because it looked so good when I made it for DD (she had 2) but I included it in my allowance for today of 1300 calories. Anyhow classic PMS I am sure and this too will pass. Somehow I have to make myself go for my walk but all I feel like is a long nap!
