Main Goal for 2010 is to work on my health, I am not going to focus on weight loss because for some reason, probably hormonal, it is not happening. I have continued to eat healthy for the most part, and exercise a lot. I did take a break over Christmas, like over Thanksgiving, when I did not gain, because I just cannot live in a total state of deprivation and eat 1300-1500 calories to maintain for the rest of my life. So I have decided I need to eat very healthy, and focus on health not weight. I have crept up to 155 or so because every time I eat a normal amount of calories I gain. It is very frustrating and I really do not want any more helpful advice because I have tried everything, so need to focus on health more than anything and try and maintain where I am at. I do have some very worrying and new health concerns, not related to being a tad over a healthy weight, I need to focus on. I need to find the right practitioner who understands my body and healing as well, so am going to look for that too. So please don't tell me to eat more calories, less calories, calorie cycle, change up my exercise, do this and do that or stand on my head. People, I know what to do! I have been doing it, and right now I am going to focus on my health and not focus on the weight, it has become too frustrating and like beating my head against a brick wall.

    I know how frustrated you've been--since I've been following you, it's been the same scenario, and it's been a rough battle for you. I love you pic, and I love your blogs, and for as much as you give others, I truly feel that 2010 will be a positive year for you!

    I TOTALLY get where U are coming from. This was my whole yr last yr. Mine is high BP issues. This is what I had to keep telling myself all last yr, eat healthy, keep moving, & the scale needs to be ignored. Easier said than done sometimes, but none the less, to keep my sanity, I had to.

I too am having troubles finding the right practitioner since my old 1 left. It's quite frustrating mentally & $$ wise! 1 hates paying to go talk to an idiot! Sorry, that wasn't nice, but TRUE!

Happy New Year. Friend and her son came over for a playdate then DH home this evening. He seems in better mood lately and things going more smoothly. Main focus right now is going to be my health, as have some concerns I need to deal with on some level. House done, worked through some stuff with DH, DD settled in her school and I need to deal with things. Well DH was grumpy New Year's Day and Eve, so spoke too soon. I have PMS too!

Going to aim for 22k steps to make up deficit in New Year Sprint, then 16k the next 3 days which will be a little harder to get steps. Got salad today and finishing up the turkey by tomorrow, any left goes to the dogs! Been winding down on eating and not going too crazy tho am terrified to actually get on the scales lol! This is DH clearing the ice by the car so we could drive up the road to the hike last week!

Wow - very busy again and so much for a quiet Holiday week! I did two house-calls and mailed out my orders, went for a walk before picking DD up tho it was very cold and grey and I forgot my coat - still made me walk very briskly! Did not brave the scales yet and no turkey for a long time lol.

Have to try and get back on track with things this week have been eating way too much and not good for me to overdo it! Monday morning and back to reality! I have been so busy today with work I am thinking of calling it a rest day since it is almost 8 PM and not reached 5000 steps yet! But still eating too much Xmas food so not a good thing overall! Back on the serious diet on Monday! From the Christmas hike. Tomorrow will be able to go for a long walk after my housecall I hope.

    Ever tried the 10 minute cardio tapes from Coach Nicole? they are good - and you can also put on music and dance. Just ideas.

    it's too cold for any walking here. PLUS, with all the snow & no sidewalks in our neighborhood, it's just WAY TOO SLICK to walk around here. Have a happy New Year's!

    Oh man do I ever feel your pain! So ready for Monday it isn't even funny!!! I'm with you back to business on Mon -- back to hard-core workouts and back to tracking. Stupid scale! I'm up a bit this year. Oh well, we'll get it!!! Love the pictures!!

    Can you remove the Christmas food from your home? I know it doesn't feel good to toss food that you love, but if it's not helping you reach your goals, then perhaps it needs to go. Just an idea! Love the photos, as always. Majestic scene!
