The title can seem a bit confusing, so I have to explain. I was totally addicted to the scale, weighing my self everyday if not more than once. I was a cardio FREAK. Trying to get me to do strength....NO WAY
Even though I was losing the weight, I was very unhappy about my body(we are our worse critics). My SparkFriend NANCYANNE55 gave me some very good advice. The 1st thing she said was to ditch the scale....huh I can't hear you, say that again. Even though it took a lot out of me, I obliged.
So for the past two weeks, I have not stepped on the scale until today. It was so tempting to! I added more strength and HIIT training to my routine.
I was so ecstatic weeks ago that I was finally back in the 140s. Stepping on the scale this morning and seeing that I was back into the 150s did discourage me at first. Then a went off, "Destini, check your measurements!" Sure enough I lost 4.5inches.
Guess what that means.....I AM GAINING MUSCLE....YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! .
Bye bye , you are no longer the dictator in this relationship!
