I hurt myself

So a year ago I could easily do two workout video's plus a Butt, Legs, and Theigh toner video all in one shot. Um yeah.... not so today. Two days ago, I did a half hour of my Denise Austin dance video and my BLT video and my diaphram is incredibly bruised. Like bruised to the point where if my hubby hugs me, and he breathes in, just his belly hitting me hurts. So... no BLT for me, no ball crunches, no nothing for a few days until the pain goes away. No pain no gain right?

It's stated that you'll lost faster now than at any other time of year. So.... Here's a few things.

If a lymph-stimulating cleanse is right for you if...

1) You suffer from weight gain, fatigue and two or more of the following symptoms of sluggish lymph flow:

*Acne, rashes or dull and flaky skin
*Cellulite (even when you lose weight)
*Yeast or Urinary tract infections

(This was my plan, I fit two of the three)

Your stimulating staples will be:

1)Have hot lemon water with breakfast
*Juice half a lemon into 8 oz. hot water. "Lemon promotes intestinal muscle contractins that speed toxin elimination by the liver and lymph system. And hot water stimulates gastric nerves for the most efficient detox."

2) Sip Cran-Water throughout the day
*Add 8 oz. unsweetened cranberry juice (like Mountain Sun or R.Q. Knudsen Family) to 56 oz. water. "Anthocyanins and organic acides in cranberry juice stimulate the release of trapped fat so it can be flushed bu the liver and lymph system."

3) Start and end your day with a fat-flushing coctail
* Upon risin gand again right before bed, mix 1 Tbs. ground flaxseed into 8 oz. cran-water and drink. Flax is natures richest source of lignans, plant compounds that nourish the liver and lymph system so they can metabolize fat-soluble toxins and excess body fat

In addition to the cleansing beverages above, consume three daily meals featuring a total of 8 oz. lean meat and/or soy, two eggs, and at least three cups of vegetables. Enjoy two snacks of fruit per day, as well.

An Immunity-Regulating Cleanse is right for you if:

*You suffer from weight gain, fatigue and two or more of these:
~Frequent spring colds
~Slow-healing wounds
~Low resistance to stress, marked by high blood pressure, GI distress or headaches

1) Have a smoothie for 2 meals daily
*Blend until smooth: 1/2 C parsley or spinich, 1 C water, 1 banana, 1 stalk celery and a few slices cucumber or beet. :This shake fortifies the liver and immune system. Sipping two smoothies a day in place of meals could double your weight loss.

2) Sip Lemon water throught the day
*Juice one lemon into 48 oz. water; add 1 tsp freshly grated lemon zest and shake well to incorporate. The vitamin C in lemon works to heal the immune system.

In addition to the beverages aboce, enjoy a third meal of unlimited veggies and a side of protein (like legumes, eggs or nonfat yogurt). Also, snack on oranges If hunger pangs strike, pair a smoothie with light vegitarian meals.

3) A Gall-Bladder Healing cleanse is right for you if:

~You suffer from weight gain, fatigue and two or more of the following symptoms of an overburdened gallbladder:

*Belly bloat at the end of each day
*Gas, indigestion, diarrhea and/or cramping in the upper-right abdomen
*Frequent pain between your shoulders

1) Sip hot lemon water mid-afternoon.
~Juice half a lemon into 12 oz. hot water. Hot water and fruit acids loosen mucus, cleansing the liver and gall-bladder. And water hydrates to ease the midday cravings that can hinder a detox.

2) Flavor Vegetables with "Better-Butter"
~Blend 1 C. virgin olive oil and 1 C. organic butter. Cover and refrigerate. At lunch an ddinner, eat 1 bowl steamed mixed veggies with 1 Tbsp. Better butter. Studies show that olive oils oleic acids improve liver and gallbladder health.

3) Drink veggie broth throughout the day
~ Ward off hunger by sipping the water collected from steamed veggies. (Season it with veggie or garlic salt and reheat.) The vitamins and minerals in the broth heal gallbladder and liver cells. "It's like taking a powerful detox pill."

In addition to the above, start the day with fruit and cooked whole grains (oatmeal, millet, brown rice) with Better Butter. For lunch and dinner, eat a bowl of steamed vegetables. Include 4 oz. fish, pultry or beans at dinner


Hope that one of these plans fits for you guys and you're able to add them to your diet plans. I suffer from really bad skin and psoriosis along with cellulite and fatigue so I can do the first one. However, I have made the better butter and it's good. Good luck!

  


Frustrating

Does it seem like no matter what you do, the weight just stays put? I'm not kidding. I feel like I've been dieting forever and I cannot lose a single pound. I'm having a mini pity party, I just want to drop a few, just to add some encouragement to myself. Grrrrr!

    i had the same problem till i started drinking a lot of green tea then the pounds started slowly melting a way you should try this it is worth a shot

    I know how frustrating that can be. My body fat likes me a lot because it just likes to stick around, and takes FOREVER to go away. What ever you do, don't give up because you are only helping you become healthier and in the long run it will help you realize the results.
