Crazy (for loving you)Thursday, February 02, 2012
From a song about someone being "Always on My Mind" to a love lost and feeling "Crazy" about it, this one was also written by Willie Nelson, and I remember the Patsy Cline version the best, although many, many others have covered it. 1962 ![]()

According to Wikipedia: "Always on My Mind" is an American country music song by Johnny Christopher, Mark James and Wayne Carson, originally recorded by Brenda Lee in 1972. Lots of people have recorded it - I like Willie Nelson's version (1982).
Maybe I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine
If I made you feel second best
Girl I'm so sorry I was blind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Tell me, tell me that your sweet love hasn't died
Give me, give me one more chance to keep you satisfied, satisfied
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
