I automatically got on the treadmill when I got to the gym, but I remembered to set it for 2 miles instead of 4. Wore my knee wraps and they felt pretty good. Then ... the elliptical. I had tried it in the past, but prefer the treadmill. On the treadmill, my steps are counted 1:1. They are more like 2:1, 3:1? with the elliptical. It may not have counted all my steps, but it pushed my heart rate up higher than the treadmill did.
Took the pups on their 1.5 mile walk and pushed my steps above 10K. It was getting cloudy, so it was pleasantly mild. Looks like it might rain later, tho.
Sometimes, we need a little motivation to work out.
