Words of Wisdom from our local newspaper today, from the article "Be bold, and mighty forces will help you"... by Catherine Galasso-Vigorito:
The trouble with most of us, is that we stop trying in trying times. People don't fail, they just give up trying.
Triumph is the compensation of persistence and dedication to a task. ... keep close to people who encourage and believe in you, who will help you to make the most of yourself.
Cling to optimistic thoughts and affirm your ability to succeed. Never doubt or depreciate yourself. Think and say only that which you wish to come true.....hold fast to your vision. Obstacles are cleared out of the path of a determined person who believes in themselves.
For the true measure of success is having the courage and conviction to continue to get back up, no matter how many times we fall. The impediments in our path can be opportunities to climb higher.
I once read about a famous mountaineer who said he would occasionally, on purpose, climb himself into a position where it was difficult for him to get down. So he could only go up. The mountaineer said, "When there's nowhere to go but up, you jolly well go up!"
